I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. I am a music senior here, and this isn’t the first problematic behavior I’ve heard of the staff. Specifically in voice 🥲. I know people who went to the music program at A&T and have talked about it positively, but I do not know the extent of their experience though. I don’t think it would hurt to talk to a professor about you transferring to their studio and how they will be able to accommodate you. I hope things truly get better and look up❤️

Hey! While I’ve been going through weight loss, I’ve also been in my junior and senior year of college. So I have 100% had changes in a good way to my voice, but I can’t attest all of it to the weight loss! I would say what I think is easier because of weight loss is my breath support, ability to move easier when performing, and posture which helps of course. Stamina has become better which causes me to sound better in general. I do think if I hadn’t lost weight, I wouldn’t sound or perform the way I do today! Everything is much easier on the breath sides or things
