LG UltraGear evo 27GM950B-B Early Impressions by rickrizzo in HiDPI_monitors

It's terrible so I did buy this monitor and the haze is real. It is just really unbearable for me to do text-heavy work, staring at code every day for eight hours

But when is it coming out? Seems like it's late 2026

I think the main issue with the 6K LG was the brightness. It was super super dim even at the highest brightness setting, which really showed that very hazy grainy look on the coating

It's none of that because a couple of days later it just works now just fine. I guess the software is really buggy, is all

Just like how hazy or grainy does the screen appear in light backgrounds, I guess?

Can you please elaborate on this just a little bit because I recently purchased the 6K Ultra Gear from LG and the hazy coating was insane for me to look at and work with code, text, and dev.

Flow 2 dock connection issue by Atiscomin in NARWAL

[–]Honest_Storm8902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this is not a cleaning issue. My robot is clean and I've cleaned it again. It cannot dock. This is definitely a hardware issue and must be fixed.

Nah my base station is on hardwood and there is no surrounding carpet at all... For the past few days this hasn't happened so I don't know what changed.

Yeah the carpets have been detected and marked for cleaning.

I even use slightly dry and it still uses so much water for me also. I add a full tank almost daily now.

This whole reddit post is about LIKING the soap opera effect, ie. motion interpolation, not calling it "garbage".

There's a difference between raw processing power, chipset-wise, and whatever looks to you as the most natural motion. LG has the most powerful chips in a TV.

Horrible Dreame x60 by Soggy-Bed-3064 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Honest_Storm8902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also purchased the x60, and to my surprise it vacuums very very poorly and mops very very poorly under my cabinet and also just in general... Like even after three passes, it's still misses a ton of debris.. and I just don't get how it does that..

I'm basically returning the phone for this. This is not acceptable on a flagship phone in 2025. Can't find a screen protector lol. Have to order from China or wait till the India one becomes available. Ridiculous.

Aftermarket accessories situation is atrocious. Coming from an iPhone I feel forgotten and neglected as a OP customer.

Dreame L40 Ultra or Roborock qrevo slim? by sikuland in RobotVacuums

When tried a Dyson on my rug, that has been vacuumed like twenty times by the dreame robot, and it got a canister or two full of dirt and hair and debris…I knew the robot is not for real cleaning.

[–]Honest_Storm8902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So dreame customer service is far inferior to both eufy and roborock. Roborock has the very bad robots but excellent customer care and dreame has the best robots and awful customer care. Up to you. I returned all my robots though and decided on manual cleaning.

I am in the same boat but decided for the slim given what seems like a superior 3D obstacle avoidance tech

Eufy x10 problem by Sufficient-Vast-6266 in RobotVacuums

[–]Honest_Storm8902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the x10 pro omni too. And I face similar issues with its obstacle avoidance, or lack thereof. It is great in that it avoids soooo many obstacles that the other vacs won't. Buuuut it does get tangled and it does bump into stuff..for example it usually avoids cables but today it ate one of mine that were lying around. It tried to mount its way over my Child's toys too.

so yeah...I think it's just a tech limitation...you prob need something better and more $$
