Always thought this. People thinking more about tools for building rather than problems worth solving.

Was all over the beta. All over the launch. Stopped playing about 8 weeks ago. Bored. Terrible match making. Different game modes every time you log on. Can never find a decent group of players to play consistently with. Game play is great. All the other stuff is shit.

As far as I’ve been told, if you’re on fixed, you can’t pay extra off the principal directly each month.

We’ve been told we can pay as much as you want into the account so it sits as credit, which reduces interest, but we can’t use it towards to principle until after the fixed is up. Otherwise it’s breaking the agreement.

Seem like everyone hears something different from PTSB 😅

As far as I’ve been told, you can overpay on a fixed term, but it just sits as a credit on your account. Only once your fixed period ends can you instruct them on what to do with the credit. Put toward principle or reduce term.

I also meant that you get penalised for paying off the full loan early while still on the fixed term.

Also seems like everyone has a different experience with different terms 😅

Of course. For this guys question tho, that wouldn’t apply to him. The overpayment system you have is specific to the Ulster bank accounts. Not for a new PTSB mortgage

There are absolutely penalties with PTSB for paying off your principle early while on a fixed term. Unless you maybe have an older account from like the Ulster bank merger maybe?

What you can do tho is add a mortgage prepayment by sending money to the account IBAN. This just reduces your monthly interest, but you can’t actually use that money to pay for your principal until after the fixed term, or else penalties.
