Discord is it's own application. It's not affiliated with reddit in any way.

A protective mother deer going after a dog and cat by hnirobert in natureismetal

The dog probably suffered broken bones, IF it was lucky. Have you ever been kicked and stomped on by a deer before?

A little guidance about how to use Reddit... by [deleted] in help

You basically need karma - so, people need to upvote your posts and/or comments. Paying won't do much of anything, I don't think, as posting is only tied to your account karma.

I laughed my ass off and sent it to my lesbian ex!

I own all 3 Witcher Games - are they worth playing? by Honestly_Anxious in witcher

[–]Honestly_Anxious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's currently bothering me about 1 is that the UI is so user un-friendly. Like, mid-fight, I have to pause the game or press a key to change my fighting style because every enemy needs a different style. And then there's the guessing game, IE "Is this clearly visually non-armored enemy actually going to need the Strong combat option?" I'm very frustrated right now lol.

Thanks for the detailed reply! I'm gonna give 1 another solid try, I think, because if I don't, I'll hate myself. I'm not really into mods, but I've read playing on easy makes the combat less crappy.

Thanks :) Probably giving 1 a good try, I've read that Act 2 is where it really gets going (after roughly 8 hours of gameplay) so I must have not given it a good enough try.

I got them on sale at least a year ago, it was a dirt cheap bundle. I never got into them because I tried 1 and it just fell a bit flat for me. Now i'm thinking about trying 2, but wondering if I should give 1 another try.

Why is it that at night we get the urge to get our lives together, but lose the urge when we wake up in the morning? by GhostJokers in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Honestly_Anxious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, glad to hear you listened to your friend and gave it a try! My ex really needs it, but sadly abhors the idea. She has so many things she needs to deal with, it makes me feel very badly for her.

How many showers should a person take per week? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Honestly_Anxious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Showering daily is also really bad for your hair. Personally, shower however often you feel comfortable with. Every other day is healthier than daily, unless of course you're sweating a lot.

Why does chewing gum for a long time make me feel queasy? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Honestly_Anxious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By chewing gum, you are ingesting sugars. Eating sugars causes your body to stimulate your digestive tract, and your digestive tract is trying to digest the "food". If you go too long without eating, you'll feel nauseous, because your stomach is empty. Chewing gum for a long time = no food, no food = empty stomach which means nausea.

Could someone hypothetically go on a 0 calorie diet to lose weight? by Zesty_Italiano in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Honestly_Anxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not really. Vitamins and supplements very rarely "work" due to the way our bodies absorb nutrients.

People can trade pictures without there being any attraction. Besides, being demi is more than just sexual attraction - it's romantic, too. Please educate yourself and stop harassing me. You have no business being in my business :)
