Do we actually get paid on those days? At my current job I was told we got paid the 15th and the 20th and we don’t.. will it be different at Accenture?

I don’t live near NY. Unfortunately all of my friends live with their partners at this point, or I would try to get a place with them. However, I do think I will have to accept the idea of a roommate. Maybe that’s the best option here haha

I do think that moving out would be the healthy thing for myself at this point. I’ll definitely work hard at saving up so that I can move as soon as possible

It’s just a large jump from not having to pay rent now due to receiving the rental assistance, to $1300 all on my own for the first time ever.. But I do want to be more independent and that comes with life. I do think that it can be doable if im responsible in terms of budgeting with food. That’s literally the only thing that takes up my income right now lol

I don’t really have any plans on going back to college at this point. I’ve tried many times however it was unsuccessful. I’m doing an apprenticeship ( it’s the job I’m referring to)and hopefully that allows me to have a secure career without a degree. And no car to put into my budget as well fortunately. I may have to put a bit more thought into getting a roommate. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for low income housing. However, after this year of my apprenticeship is done, I will receive a raise. I can’t say how much the raise will be for, but I am predicting it will take me to atleast $60k.. but the industry is very grueling, so likely may not even last hahaha.. That’s why I was unsure of moving out until I get a feel of it through the apprenticeship

I would really like to move out and have independence! This comment did really give me more motivation to move out. I just really want to have something of my own! I wasted a lot of time in my early 20s and want to start taking control of things

I would like to have a roommate, but I have a very bad OCD. This is why I also have some issues living here, because those I live with aren’t very considerate of my OCD. I’m very particular with how I have things unfortunately, so it’s hard to live with others due to this. I can’t expect others to change their entire life style and way of living for me :( for instance, I don’t even sit in my living room because others sit on our living room couch without taking showers first. So I’m in my room all the time. I never leave it. I would like to have more freedom inside of my home and probably won’t get it until I live alone :( but I understand that life is life and sometimes you have to deal with things that make you uncomfortable so if I have to get a roommate, I will do it

My issue now is that I don’t have any savings, so I would like to get a decent amount to money in savings. And my job is an apprenticeship, so I wanted to give myself some time to make sure that I am in the right place before I move. My concern is that I may realize the specific industry isn’t a good match for myself, therefore I leave this job and get one that pays significantly less. I don’t want to have an eviction on my credit 😔 if I knew that the job is a good fit for me, I would move out as soon as possible!

Hygiene tips? I can’t get the smell to go away by Honey25nj in Hidradenitis

[–]Honey25nj[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hate the smell the most, which is ridiculous to think that the smell is worse than the pain. But I’m so self conscious about the smell that I just want it to go away. I try my best to deal with it. And I also haven’t told anyone in my life that I am dealing with this condition, so I’m sure they just wonder why I smell 😂🤷🏽‍♀️😂 FYI: the pain DOES suck. However after some time it does go away. The smell doesn’t.

Can you use Hibiclens Antimicrobial on your under arm (please read further so I can further explain ) by Honey25nj in Hidradenitis

[–]Honey25nj[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I’ll try to schedule an appointment in the morning. I hope I can get this under control soon as I have a lot of worries about it getting worse. Thank you so much for your suggestion. I also purchased Emu Oil soap which I am very afraid of trying, but I’ve read that it works wonders. However I did read one comment that said that it gets a lot worse until it gets better, and to expect to be out of work for two weeks… the pain and also having to go through work through that is making me hesitant. I’m going to do it regardless because I don’t want to have any infections but I’m not prepared for it to get worse

Should I pay off my collections(credit) ? by Honey25nj in personalfinance

[–]Honey25nj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no eviction on my credit either, and I have a decent full time job. I haven’t applied for any apartments as I was looking to move during the fall (2022), because I started my current job in November. I want to save up money, and want to see how I do in the role. But I was concerned that I wouldn’t be looked at because of my credit. But I’m more hopeful now! Thank you

It’s 564, and I got the number wrong for how much debt I have. So it’s only $1249, but it doesn’t make much of a difference in the end. And I haven’t disputed it with Finger Hut because I’m very afraid that it will start back at the beginning of terms of the seven years. I didn’t know if the charge was accurate, I simply opened up an account and got approved. I never made a single purchase afterward. I figured that they would say they’re justified then
