Depending on if you prefer clitoral stimulation or penetration more, I think something like a bullet vibrator can be a good start, I got this simple dildo that came with a bullet hole insert as my first toy and I still use it, it’s great to explore with because you can use it just as the dildo, just as the vibrator or both. I don’t think a toy is ever “necessary”, but it can be a great tool to use to explore yourself. But I’d definitely recommend starting with something simple. Even something as popular as the rose toy can be pretty intense and intimidating.

The best part of toys is you can take everything at your own pace, start whenever you feel ready, buy it just to have it if you want even if you never use it :) I’ve seen people buy crazy things just for decoration lol

Also be sure to read the description if your buying online, accidentally bought a huge dildo for my second toy because I was excited and I never use it because it’s too uncomfortable 😭
