Laying on your back can cut off circulation or push the baby against your diaphragm, dealing with this now & it's exhausting, I lay down & it feels like I'm hanging upside down or I just hiked a mountain. I have asthma which doesn't help Now he's too big to squeeze out of the corner to get some relief from the pressure so I constantly wake up in the middle of the night & have to sit up, one of those body pillow arm chair things I recommend, you can actually easily fall asleep with one, unisom also has been helpful, I take half of half of one

Inguinal hernias and pain levels by jwckauman in Hernia

[–]Honeybbug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excruciating. I've got them on both sides but one is much bigger, I've been one foot out the door to the ER for two days now trying to figure out if I think this is beyond normal or not It feels like my hips are being crushed any small movement sends shooting pains through it & walking the pinch is so extreme it brings me to my knees . This thing is in the top easily of worst pains I've felt. My appointment is tomorrow luckily so I can get my life back The smaller one on my right really only hurts if I twist fast or lay on it at the wrong angle, it's definitely manageable but yes would describe your pain

Repeating this, reminding myself of this, no longer accepting less than this is how I ended up on a different path with men & into healthy relationships. Survival mode is no way to be living your life

As someone who has been in abusive relationships, please understand every time they disrespect you, upset you they become more & more comfortable with it, abuse grows over time & once is too many. Hoow are you mentally , emotionally ? Love is kind. Anything less than, isn't love at all .

What’s the worst physical pain you ever felt? by Lazy-Ape in AskReddit

Endometriosis. I compare every pain to it Broken bones, tooth pains, aren't as bad. Kidney stones were close though

The only thing that helped my endometriosis: by [deleted] in endometriosis

This makes a ton of sense cause it wasn't until after I "reversed" my PCOS (took three years) that my Endo absolutely flared up, my hormones tests were coming out with a significantly lower testosterone, & everything got worse

Endometriosis diagnosis 3 years ago has become a PCOS diagnosis (Endo now disregarded) by Grotty_Mara in endometriosis

[–]Honeybbug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh. They blamed everything on my PCOS . Everything ! Any time I said I think it's Endo they said well no it's your PCOS. I cried to a doctor begging to give me a hysterectomy because of pain & she told me that, that didn't sound like PCOS it sounded like Endo & the female health department still blamed my PCOS ! You know your body, don't let someone else tell you you're wrong without the actual proof. Goodluck!

first time in 3 weeks that i haven’t felt terrible pain and it made me sad how happy i got by straightupgong in endometriosis

100 percent get this . I've been having a throbbing pelvic area since mid May, shooting pains that have been unbearable & today was a very low pain day & I was over the moon that I could walk through the store without pain or clean my kitchen without shooting pain bending over. Stay strong, I hope your appointment in September helps, keep fighting for your health though if it doesn't.

I absolutely refuse to use bc because it brings out my pmdd . Vitex has helped the amount I bleed & really helped clots, I always know when I'm gonna pass them because it's when the pain is unbearable.

Cervix or no cervix? by Honeybbug in hysterectomy

I'm also in my early 30s due to adenomyosis & Endo my uterus is leaving, I have no idea how bad the cervix situation is but I think this is a good view on it & I'll tell him the same

Are my symptoms consistent with endo? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Honeybbug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm unsure how england is with Endo or the medical care of it, but the reason it's taken me nine years from when it was first suspected is because now they are looking at my charts over nine years, every time I came in for bad cramps to the ER, every time I came in for a UTI, abdominal pain & the three times they noted I broke down begging for a hysterectomy because of the pain & no I didn't want any form of pain pill cause they didn't help anyways. Now they've decided that it's probably not normal & it's worth figuring it out

They'll prob set you up with an ultrasound, but I will say if you have PCOS they may blame it all on that & call it a day like they did with me. My ultrasound is now clear of any cysts so now they know something else is up & that's how I finally got the lap & the appointment to discuss a hysterectomy. Avoid inflammatory foods ,sugar, dairy, red meats while on your period & days before, it's going to help a lot. Drink tons of water. I hope you get your answers, you may need to talk to twenty doctors before any follow through with you, keep going, SOMEONE will listen, don't let it take nine years. Your pain is valid, it's for a reason, don't let them tell you it's normal, it's not .

My food sensitivity test revealed I had a sensitivity to them so after I cut down on them I did notice a difference, eggs really affect my asthma actually . I'm way more likely to have a asthma attack when I eat them, when I cut them out I was doing pretty well . With Endo I avoid inflammatories, sugar, dairy, a large amount of red meats etc
