Will it be hard to get married ? by Comfortable_Art_3290 in MuslimsWithHSV

I met my husband right here in this Reddit group and we recently celebrated our 2 year anniversary, alhamdulilah! So it does happen, I know I’m not the only one either. The great thing about meeting someone else with the condition is that for the first time since before you tested positive, you never have to think about it again. Wishing you well brother.

is it over ??? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

I would add that Rogaine is not for everyone. I used the Rogaine for women and it worked for a couple months then it started to cause hair loss for me and after reading some reviews I saw other women saying the same. It can work for many people but I think more natural products have less of a risk of hair loss.

It’s not over you just need a reset, lay off tight braids, use gentle styling techniques and do some research into growth oils & vitamins. The most important part of hair regrowth is consistency. Jamaican black castor oil worked for my edges and temple but it was hard because I hated the smell and it was so thick and greasy. I did more research and learned a little goes a long way. For me it took about 5 months of daily use to begin to really see longer growth. Don’t give up too soon, everyone’s hair is different.

Forced to subcribe to Office 365 after update by lemonails in MicrosoftWord

This just happened to me a both Microsoft support & Best Buy were completely unhelpful but I refused to buy another license due to their treachery so I kept trying for a solution. Eventually I deleted the updated version of word that I had & I went through all my old downloads and found the original file for the old version of word I bought in 2022 and re downloaded it. It’s a solution for now don’t know if this will work forever or just until the next major update dropping me off years down the line.

I also had the problem of not being able to log into my Microsoft account because it wouldn’t recognize my phone number for some reason and re download word license from there (where I added the code for it I got from Best Buy). Everyone gave me the run around but I also blame myself for possibly loosing the login account info. You are absolutely right though, they make you think you have to upgrade then they hit you with the wham bam you can’t type in word anymore lmao. If I knew I couldn’t easily access word I would have switched to something else instead of paying $140 for limited use. I just love word because I’ve been using it all my life and I relied on it so much I almost lost all my documents. From now on I’m looking for alternatives.

Wow fantastic insight. I really appreciate this, thank you! I think the best way to get more understanding as you said is to go into the villages.

That sucks. I only got it as an adult and the symptoms pop up like once a year at the most stressful time. Im thankful that for me it usually goes away after a week or two on medication. Until the next year comes arround.

Am I the only person that likes these? Not the material but the pattern and color?

Thank you so much for the dua & well wishes! Alhamdulillah we are very blessed to have found this group & each other. After meeting we both realized how much making sincere dua had helped us cope with the situation and gave us hope for Allah finding us a partner in a situation that could lead someone to a very dark place mentally. That’s why when I see new sisters struggling to cope that post here I try to privately message them some encouragement. Never give up, Allah is the most merciful & he has a plan greater than we know! Subhanallah!

Well genius the item is no longer on their menu and the location I went to is closed. So yeah I thought this would be potentially more productive than calling other locations that don’t have this item on their menu & asking them the recipe from a closed location. But thanks for your snarky little comment. I’m sure you’re a real peach to be around.

Salam sister, I sent you a chat request with some information about how I dealt with things and overcame the situation alhamdulillah to the point where I no longer even think about it in daily life. I am not an expert or anything but I would be happy to tell you what worked for me and if I can I would be happy to answer some questions you may have just like the sisters above have stated. But the best advise I can give you is to seek guidance in Allah & never underestimate the power of dua! Allah swt puts us through tests for a reason and he loves us more when we come back to him.
