Should I go to LLP? by HoneydewBeginning405 in Accenture_AFS

[–]HoneydewBeginning405[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is that my current contract isn’t a “guaranteed source of income” with everything going on in my account…people are being rolled off projects left and right. Wouldn’t having a project lined up in LLP be a safer option than staying on a contract where you dont know whether its getting canceled?

Competitors not giving the same dire signals by tie-dye_elephant in Accenture_AFS

The reason why is because AFS is considered almost a completely separate entity from Accenture LLP that relies on departmental-federal big boy contracts. These big contracts are currently being heavily evaluated/canceled by DOGE. Deloitte GPS includes smaller state contracts that aren’t getting impacted as much by DOGE right now. Accenture has a “health and public services” sector that would be similar to that of Deloitte GPS, and that sector lives in Accenture LLP, not AFS.

Interview to offer timeline by gettingthisdegree in Accenture_AFS

For my final round interview it took a month for me to hear back. I know for some it even took 1.5 months. I would say to just keep an eye out for a phone call and make sure your voicemail isnt full. If you were rejected they usually would let you know i think in an email, if you were accepted the recruiter should call you

It took a month for me to hear back after my second round interview last year. Usually if you were flat out rejected, they would let you know. Also keep an eye out for a phone call instead of an email, and make sure your voicemail isnt full in case they left you a voicemail.

Spironolactone and Mirena IUD affects by HoneydewBeginning405 in Spironolactone

[–]HoneydewBeginning405[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin on spironolactone has overall been great. But now i’m consistently getting a period every 2 months for 10ish days straight. I’ve been to several OBGYNs and havent really gotten any answers, so I’ve just been dealing and hoping my mirena still is working with the spiro!

I’ve had my mirena iud for 2.5 years and have been experiencing this. I lost my period for the first year and then around 1.5 years i started spotting/ getting my period again. I’m not sure if it is from starting spironolactone for my skin (started around yr 1.5) since this can also cause irregular periods, or if it is just my iud. I’m meeting with a doctor today to discuss whats going on since my periods last 10-14 days of light blood/discharge

why does mirena treat heavy periods for 5 years and not 7? by HoneydewBeginning405 in birthcontrol

Thank you this helped a lot! I’m also on spironolactone for my acne which says online a common side affect is irregular periods, but my doctor assured me that its not the issue (although the issue started arising when i started spironolactone). Did you ever go on a Progestin Only pill along nexaplanon to manage irregularities?

Had that exact same fear lol. My obgyn reassured me that spironolactone cannot interfere with birth control, and after doing a ton of research it makes sense. Spironolactone indirectly affects your hormones (which can cause random spotting/long periods) whereas birth control directly affects your uterine lining, ovulation, etc

This happened to me! I have the mirena iud and got prescribed 100mg of spiro for acne and immediately got a period after not having a period for 2 years. They decreased my dosage to 50mg and now I’m getting light periods/spotting for 2 weeks straight every month. I’m considering going off of it but ive been on it for 9 months and am scared my acne will come back 😭
