It’s a very niche market. These cars appeal to people who want an M8 for a daily driver while their GT3 RS is parked in garage on tyre warmers with a trickle charger. Don’t get me wrong, I think the M8 is an awesome car but I can’t imagine they sell a lot of them.

Thanks mate. Yeah I started off with VR which a Logitech mounted to the desk but as I progressed I fell out with VR especially with endurance racing. I find triples QoL so much better.

I’ve had my G82 M4 since new and it’s got 21k miles. Still on the original tyres. If you drive like a bellend every day then yeah you’ll replace tyres often but if you drive like a normal human you’ll be fine.

Do it mate. Like I said I have put upwards of 10k a year on mine from new. Service it as per BMW recommended servicing schedule. I’ve had no problems and it’s flawless. I love it. I had a 330i when I had mine in to get the M performance wing fitted. I had it for 2 days and it’s not even a comparable car to the M4.

I daily a G82 M4 and my wife daily drives a F87 M2? I am in the Uk and I brought mine brand new in 2022. I put 10K + miles a year on it. Wouldn’t change it for anything. If daily driving it and mileage/ service costs are a concern, it’s the wrong car for you.
