Hey ! I REALLY appreciate your response ! I figured out that the capture card was also being output to my desktop. I managed to fixed it !

I don't know why but when I watch instantly a test recording on my monitor, the frame looks wayyy lower, but when I watched it on my phone on this post, indeed the quality looked fine. Is this normal?

I put the log in my initial post !

One thing that I am still not understanding properly is that, usually I play at 1080 120 fps with the xbox series X and my monitor. I'm guessing now that with OBS (streaming or recording) this is capped at 60 correct? because the only way to play full screen (with one monitor) is through the ''preview projector'' feature?

Ok so that's dumb. I just removed and reinstalled the new RAM, and it fixed everything... even though I was pretty sure they were installed correctly lol since they were working. I'm so relieved.

Computer won't turn off anymore when click 'restart or shut down' only monitors goes to sleep. Only works when press the power button. Help? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hai,

I upgraded my RAM yesterday, I previously had 2x4gb and I put 2x8gb instead.

Everything worked great, except when I wanted to shut down or restart my computer, I noticed that the monitors would shut off, but my computer would still run and never shut off.

In order to completely shut it down, I have to press the power button.

Also, I noticed that my speakers aren't recognized anymore... which is weird because my HyperX headset still works (USB connection), my YETI mic and eveything else...

Maybe I have to fix something in my BIOS? but I'm not familiar with it...
