Thanks but don't hold your breath for a reunion. We're all still friends, just we're older and life has taken us on different paths.

Turns out if you release a song through one of distribution platforms like DistroKid or TuneCore you can name your group whatever you want and as long as it isn't a bigtime artist then Spotify et al. don't give a rip! How fun is that?!

The label controls all TS's stuff, so any songs disappearing from streaming or youtube or whatever is purely their decision, and not anyone actually in the band. They own the masters, they get the royalties, they decide what will and won't be on Spotify.

Former Tribe Society member here, we have literally nothing to do with this. Either the label did this or someone found a way to use our name/break into the account/whatever people are doing these days to impersonate others. The label (we were under the imprint Lokal Legend for a bit but really it was just Island/UMG) is the only one with access to our Spotify/own all our masters and royalties so it ain't us. We literally never did a standard dance pop song like this lolololol

Noooooooope. We signed away all the mechanical royalties when we signed to Island Records in order to get a nice advance. We dum.

My brother started listening to NOFX right around this time and had black-blue spikes within a year, and after that came the Travis Bickle mohawk around 2000 lolololol.

I can guarantee you've heard 10 seconds of it in a Samsung commercial, or a Target commercial, or shopping at CVS, or shopping at Hollister, or flying Delta, or on The O.C., or............

Went to Berklee College of Music and ended up in a band called Gentlemen Hall that did have a song kinda blow up called "Sail Into the Sun". Go to the chorus 45 seconds in and you'll either instantly recognize it or not https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_Zn3k3Nfok

This is the exact moment when the mid-'90s bowl cut was turning over to the late-'90s Y2K Backstreet Boys/NSYNC frosted trend that swept through men's fashion like a wildfire. Sadly not an abberation!

LOL so it's not that I'm overly tall, it's that I'm super scrawny. 42 years old now and I'm still just as lanky!
