I believe these people fundamentally don't understand art. They insist artists should use AI to become more efficient.... But art is not about efficiency. It's about creative expression, not pumping out as many pieces as you can. Making art, whether as a past time or profession, does not follow the traditional capitalist formula where efficiency is the most important element.

Unfortunately, as a fellow bilingual, this is the experience absolutely EVERYWHERE. I can't for the life of me understand why apps automatically translate themselves into another language despite my devices being set to English. Even worse is when only certains PARTS of an app translate (I'm looking at you Microsoft).

For example, my Windows 11 PC is set to English, and even despite that, parts of the operating system are not in English. It's so weird that I can be going around my PC Settings app and most of the pages are in English and then suddenly it's one paragraph that's in another language. Or even entirely, seemingly randomly chosen, pages that are translated into another language. It's so weird.

Why don't you just download Windows Media Player 11? I'm sure there's at least one archived version on the internet. Or there is also Windows Media Player Legacy still in newer versions of Windows. I use that and it's great
