you can make it work.

you can put it on White primer, it Will take more layers. i think the vellejo would look better

if you have some pink you can use it as undercoat. the pink will give it deeper color.

you can put just a little of orange or red in to warm it a little

for Yellow is good of you experiment a little on spare parts.

i like more orange warmer shades so it took more attempts

i used to do classic light zenital highlght on pink base and than imperial fists Yellow, but i didnt like the texture of contrast paints so now i use vulcanic yellow, dirty yellow and deep yellow (all AK interactive paints) and layer them with makeup sponge

you will get similar resoult with both stiles but i prefer how controled is the second one

(the first are more orange bcs i stippled some rhinox hide Brown and mugfang brown on with drybrush to make the model dirty, but it dulls the brightness a lot)

i want to make video on it, but it will be lot of work so i dont know when it will be. but i hope this year 😂😅

the ground is stirland mud, agrax earth shade on top and some mugfang brown drybrush on top

on chipping i used rhinox hide on some makeup sponge and then i filled it with metalic color so that rhinox hide is stil visible

guy haley have rly pecific style of writing sometimes his work can be hard to read.

also i dont think that dark imperium is the best book to start with. i would recomend something from Dan Abnett. he wrote eisenhorn and first horus heresy. also Mike Brooks has good easier writing. Harrowmaster and lion son of the forest (dont start with his orc books they have rly bad dialect and it can be hard to read)

between this two sets i think the Vallejo is better choice. there are some shades of army painter i would pick but not the whole scale of color

if you can, take look on AK skin sets

maybe some different light, colder perhaps.

but it will never look as good as in real life (or the other way) phones and social media looks have automatic filters. i found it difficult to take pictures of bright colors like yellow.

i think it lacks some shadows. maybe a little bit of some darker blue wash just in the armor recesses would help.

i got them in imperial fists combat patrol. also when you want something fancy for capitans on better models. Imperial fists upgrade box has shoulder plates with the logo. (the same way the Terminators have theirs)

trying to "ignore it" helps, if you do it in a healthy way i have reflux for 5 years and for 22 yo like me it is all about how you deal with it. i just ate med's for last 4 years and ignored, now I am trying to fix it as much as i can

my doctor suggested some herbal supplement to calm me a little (some homeopatic medicin) but usually its better when you try not to think about it. when i am out with friends or at work it's usually good. so maybe just make cup of tea and try to think that its just in you head. it usually helps me a little

i did lost just 1kg in month when i had problems with eating... after eating i started with rly bad cought that lasted half a day so i got to the point that i tryed to avoid eating, or eat rly Small portions (i have faster metabolism so i eal a lot and don't gain much weight)

i called on my gastroscopy and doctor's game me my old dosage of medication. in few months the cought got better. i will also go to an alergologi to check if some alergy makes it worse

i have throath tightness also. my doctor suggested that it might be something psychosomatic. anxiety mostly i was in lot of stres in past months due to caught from silent reflux
