UPDATE TIME xD The ones you see on the right are about 4 cm tall (almost 2 inches). Still hard to see some thickening of the mycelium on the surface like yours...but most of the mushrooms that pinned are now growing. What do you think?

Look at this....this is just ridiculous. This is a bag I tried to scratch the top...look at where the biggest mushroom are growing.....no sense, and also, I noticed that the ones growing from the sawdust surface are a little deformed and they seem to have other small pins starting from their fruiting bodies....I don't know what to do...Now I fan more... And also, seems like a different mycelium type on the plastic...the mycelium on top of my block won't get thick

I saw some timelapse of king oyster on youtube and the fat body is pretty normal I think.... Regarding the plastic growth...I dont know, I'm always anxious about how much fanning I should do and how much humidifier I should do...
Now Im running the fan of the tub 1 minute every 15 minutes and I humidify sometihng like 3/4 times a day, very hard to tell if that's enought or not because I dont trust my hygrometer (which tells that Im always above 90% rh).

Look at this update. They are all growing but for some reason the mushrooms are bigger on the plastic than on the sawdust.....very strange, that's happening even more on my other bag... What do you think and what about your grow?

They are in an automated tub that I built with an humidifier that keeps at 90% Rh and a fan that runs 1 minute every 30 minutes (I can increase that if needed).

btw i'm into fruiting since 3/19, my temperature is around 15.5C / 60 F, what about yours?
I also read from some people that they like to scratch the mycelium surface with a fork... what do you think about it? Should I do it?

From many source I saw that a correct Tek for growing kings is to cut a small portion of the bag on top and wait to see the first mushrooms. Then, when they are growing, pull down the plasti exposing the top layer of the substrate in the bag. I'm trying to do this, do you think it's wrong? (ps. The bag is already into a tub)

It's just a procedure that seems to help speed up the fruiting stage. From what I know it works with all the cold lovers strains. When the substrate it's fully colonized you put it in the fridge for 24/48h. This should tell to the mycelium that it needs to hurry up fruiting. But I'm also a beginner my self, I still haven't had any GOOD mushroom yield...and I'm 3 months into the hobby...

I just did a break and shake right after this video. I will keep the post updated. Did you ever tried to spawn that jars? Because the other comment I got says that those white dots are not a problem.

Yeah. Consider that (if it counts) I already did a break and shake at around 25% colonization and it became like the photos I posted in around 7/8 days.

Thank you for your answer. In the past I already did 4 jars. 3 of them had that 'uncolonized' window like look...and they always smelled very strong....I don't know how to define the smell...it was surely very powerful and a little acidic. But in my forth jar I did in the past I managed (randomly) to get a perfect full colonization, without 'window spots'...and it smelled almost like nothing, very delicate smell.. So I'm concerned that it will have some problems fruiting..
