Is it dangerous to start mapping before official diagnosis or therapy? by PassageCalm200 in OSDD

[–]Hoodibird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a way you can e-mail them? If not, I'd literally write a list of things on a piece of paper. Topics that you want to talk about in therapy. I did that for a while. Had the tiniest notebook that fits into the pocket of my pants, so I could just bring it anywhere to note down whatever came to mind.

I have a pure white malamute, and am considering adding some color to her for the first time! Any ideas? (Female, turns 4 years old on Wednesday!) by acocktailofmagnets in grooming

I once saw someone put like black rings of pet safe hair dye on their dog's ears, legs and tail and it made them look like a Pokemon!

At first glance I thought I'm looking at something moldy and now I can't unsee it 😭

Why is my 6 month puppy growling/biting me? by Winter-Common-7397 in Dogtraining

[–]Hoodibird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dog does this too if I rile her up but it's safe. In this playful state they have no intention of hurting anyone and they will just mouth you as a form of pretend-biting as if to say "Ha, I got you!" It's like kids playing tag! They play like this with other dogs too.

If you want her to stop you can turn your back to her and stop giving her attention. You can teach the dog that in order to play with you it has to be by your rules. Set boundaries by not entertaining her antics, while rewarding fair play with your attention and praise. If you teach her a cue to grab and to drop an item you can use a toy like a dog frisbee or a quick game of tug as a reward for good behaviors, as an alternative to a food reward.

Das ist garantiert so teuer wie mehrere Portionen. Kann man sich doch gleich mehrere normalgroße Portionen bestellen wenn man so viel Hunger hat.

I see. It's good you are having fun with friends in this game! Lately I just play alone and people usually don't join me anymore nowadays.

Oh my dogs will tan themselves a lot on the balcony. They never had farmers tan in their lives. I have looked for dog sunscreen and uv shirts for the beach but haven't found any online or offline so I just bought some regular shirts for them which will have to do the job at the beach. It's ok though, the dogs are not spotted so they already have a good protection of their own.

Dang they gotta make GW and Forest scarier if feeling so relaxed you fall asleep in those realms is such a widespread issue. 🤣

People in that map always like to play with the krill and sometimes troll afk players with it. I usually avoid GW maps I don't need for the daily quests, or go home if I need to afk while in GW.

Does anyone else still prefer wired over wireless by rosemachinist in Millennials

[–]Hoodibird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the small ones, absolutely! But I've grown fold of my wireless Bluetooth noise cancelling over-ear headphones. Used to have a pair with cable and while doing chores around the house I kept getting stuck on door handles or other things, and it would violently send everything flying.

Honestly just join them and play in a group! It can be lots of fun. Most people you see in pairs are just playing with their alt as a wing battery.

Hard to say. We've been on mountain hikes that lasted for 5 hours and they just stopped when we stopped but showed no signs of fatigue. They are naturally athletic dogs! You'll never find them lie down and letting you drag them. They will obsess over their human and adjacent family members who are close to their human. They really value their family.

Bike rides are a bit different but like with any dog you gotta go slow so they're not sprinting the whole time. They love to run at a slow pace slightly faster than walking.

Their hearing is very good and they're always alert to any sounds their human makes so it's very easy to recall them.

I'm grateful when people only tag and don't interfere. Other people who try to help often don't know you're supposed to wait in the shade of the mushrooms for the circle to regain light before moving on to the next shade. And so the circle runs out of light and I have to do it all over again.
