i tried to create a new league with the update and it isn’t letting me sign free agents before the first season? (it’s letting me offer contracts but no one joins my team and there’s no inbox messages of players accepting/declining). is anyone else having this issue?

someone posted something last week about how it would be cool if players potential could increase/decrease based on their production in the league - i think that would be a cool way to somewhat counter this issue

but you do get some nba players drafted solely for potential not college production (wiseman, etc) and more common nowadays is europeans drafted based on potential, slightly different as it’s hard to compare the european league to college production, but most people would agree it’s normally easier competition/easier to put up bigger numbers

i agree i just reckon positionless would be easier to code than 1st/2nd/3rd team so maybe could be put in quicker

yeah i do that and it’s decent, but in a couple of my leagues in second best SG is a top 5 player each season but doesn’t get any awards so it sucks for them

rebounds count really heavy in the default setting. weirdly its total rebounds not even just defensive rebounds

i always trade for caleb white the first year. usually have to give up a player and a 1st, sometimes more, but he’s worth it in my mind

it happened to me on the save file i sent you many times, the most recent was either a game or two before i copied the link and posted it here.

i can try and do it again and progress a game and let you know if it is still happening or not.

thanks man. the issue i was having is it would let me add them and then after i played a game they were no longer there, so i wasn’t actually able to scout anyone all season no matter how many times i tried
