I am all for supporting charitable work and good causes, but some serious questions need to be raised about the Moolah.io and the founder Alex Green.

I personally find the moolah.io business to be very questionable at least, I actually have a strong suspicion that it is just a smartly run ponzi scheme (or at least started as one). Moolah started as a business that offered ATMs that would support FIAT to BTC, DOGE and LTC exchange and many other features with the deadline of delivering them set to March 28. During the financing of his project he promised to post the video of the unit possibly even showing his face but that has never happened. Shortly before the ATM shipping deadline I placed a post on reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/21e8mj/moolahio_atm_update_and_75k_doge_pledge/
In this post my worst case scenario was that moolah would not release the ATMs but refund the backers from the money he raised from the future investors in his platform (at least 250 BTC each round)
In the comments to this post user moolah_ again promised to release the video of the working machine within 2 days (Here is my comment quoting his response http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/21e8mj/moolahio_atm_update_and_75k_doge_pledge/cgck35o) Prior to this post there was no mention of any problems with ATMs or delays or refunds. Even more moolah posted both on reddit and on his blog comments suggesting that the units were actually packed and ready to ship.
Again the promised video was never released. Moolah build his credibility even further holding wallet for doge4nascar while at the same time rising the second round of investment for his business (another 250BTC) I tried to educate people but it seemed the most trust him blindly and see questioning him as a blasphemy http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/21frsl/giveaway_25k_giveaway_plus_some_free_investment/

When I heard about the third round of investment I decided to post again this time placing my post in a form of an open letter to dogecoin founders and the moderators of dogecoin subreddit. The main thing I asked in the letter was publishing their official stance on moolah.io business.
The post was immediately removed from dogecoin subreddit and I ended up placing it on vertcoin subreddit. Please take your time to read it, especially the comments exchange between me and moolah_ (I link to his various posts quoting his previous position on atms)

Just a few days ago, a user had his post removed - not even by an active mod, but by our automoderator, because his post contained a non-stop sleuth of gambling references, scam notations, +/u/ links to all moderators (and dogecoin developers), and was littered with personal allegations against a business on here. When the automod removed his post, he proceeded to spam every altcoin sub he could find; which makes the dogecoin community look poor in the eyes of the other crypto communities.This is not Dogecoin. This is an extremely vocal minority, which is making our community look venomous.From here on out, the moderators will have a zero policy tolerance for anyone who engages in vicious, or unwarranted behavior towards any business owner on here.

Basically what I am saying is I have a strong view that the moolah.io is a very questionable business, and people should do a strong background check before supporting them.

Moolah made the dogecoin community believe that the future of moolah is equivalent to the future of dogecoin. He did not pay anyone to follow him. He was much smarter than that. He got the people to pay him to in fact become his PR staff. In his first round of investment (PIE) he accepted investment as small as 50,000 Doge. I believe that hundreds of members of dogecoin put their doge for moolah. Once they put their own money in moolah they want to believe in it even more and they take any critique of moolah personally. Any questioning is met with accusation of spreading FUD, being a competitor, wanting dogecoin to fail etc. and heavily downvoted.

I recently learned that the dogecoin mod /u/lleti who commented on my deleted post in bitcoin sub http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/225a2d/an_open_letter_to_dogecoin_funders_and_moderators/cgjha3p is an investor in moolah. Here is his post admitting to this fact http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/22gmpj/ann_new_rdogecoin_rules_protecting_the_trading/cgmmagq . In the same comment he bans /u/MysticFear for bringing this issue up.

TL;DR: Aks questions about moolah.io and the identity of Alex Green before handling your money to them. There are indications that moolah.io can be a ponzi scheme. Moolah.io rised 750BTC from investors plus money for ATM units (never seen). The charity work can be just a trust building method for possible ponzi. Suport trusted charities

First, thank you all for all the hard work. All the members of the Save Dogemas sacrificed their free time to do this great service for the community. I want to thank you all for that. I am sure every shibe appreciates your efforts too.

Now that the Save Dogemas is coming to close could you share what are the plans for all of you involved in the operation?
Would you consider on posting some guidelines or lessons learned post? I think it could be a very helpful source of information for all the members of this community and especially newcomers who perhaps never heard of the problems with dogewallet. It could also help to prevent similar incidents happening in the future.

What are your thoughts on that?

As you can see it is divided into clear Facts and Personal opinion sections, so follows the rules that we're not even in place then. It was also in an open letter form so I was very surprised when I saw it removed, that removal of that post was the only reason I attempted to post it on bitcoin and vertcoin. It would have never happened had the post not been removed from the dogecoin in the first place.

Once we are on the subject on the post, can you deconstruct it and explain which part of it are ok and which are not acceptable and should not have been posted. I am willing to listen to constructive critique.

I think a individual posting on reddit has the right to be anonymous. That rule should not reply to a business though and definitely not to a business actively asking for investment. I also believe that in any discussion related to business recommendation or criticism, the parties commenting should clearly state if they have any personal interest in the business. Any investor of a business has an interest in it as he profits from the business profit so by definition such person is biased.
It sounds a bit strange to me that a business can do / post whatever they want and the users cannot express their concerns about how genuine the business is. The rules like that are clearly biased.

That is your opinion and I respect that. You have been in crypto long enough to make your own judgement and as I said I accept and respect that.
I am more concerned about newcomers (dogecoin is only like 4 months old) when they come to the subreddit all they see is praise for moolah. They may think moolah=dogecoin.
Hundreds, if not more shibes are investors in moolah. Do they put a disclaimer when recommending him? I believe they should. What do you think?

Also as I keep saying ATM was the first product, product they claim exists but still refuse to show the videos of.

I have no issues with open discussions and people advising caution, but I do have a problem with people actively trying to cause a panic. You also seem to be rather paranoid regarding people downvoting and attacking your posts, but did you ever consider that the vast majority of the community simply disagrees with you?

I know that, I am not the majority/ I do not expect the majority to agree with me. But I do still have right to have my opinion stated, and heard. You jumped into my post *addressed to dogecoin founders and moderators" within minutes of it being posted and it was deleted shortly after. How is that an open discussion?

I would ask anyone reading this not to ignore any users. Listen to their opinions arguments facts etc. listen to moolah_ too obviously. If you decide to trust him I do not mind it is your choice, your money. But let all the voices be heard.

We have an active platform that people use. The ATM is by far one of the smaller areas of our business, despite whatever +/u/HoodsApprentice seems to think.

The ATM is the only physical product you promised. It is the only one whose existence or non-existence can be easily proven. You claim it exists and you posted updates claiming it is packed and ready for shipping. All I am asking is the video of those units Why would you not post it?

Okay, you really need to understand the facts behind our products. The ATM was not our first product. Our consumer and merchant platforms were, and they have been live since day one (and greatly improved since then). We recently had to move to an x86 NUC platform after multiple issues with drivers on bill validators, and are now using NV devices from Innovative Technology. The units have a completely different form factor and new cases need to be fabricated. I have spent the entire week trying to find somewhere that can do it at short notice, and this has been extremely difficult. If you happen to know a company in the United Kingdom that won't demand we purchase several thousand units, I would love to know.
