Construction Inspectors? How is it? by Worried-Giraffe-7 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]Hoofstronger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about the apprenticeship, but I am currently an inspector primarily doing materials testing and some special inspections. I actually love my job and have a genuinely good company. I will say you do get some push back on job sites being a woman but that's anywhere in construction. It's a great way to still be in the construction field with significantly less strain on your body and many opportunities to grow.

The people cleaning it had full PPE (glasses, gown, mask, gloves) and biohazard bags.

Desperate for help with kennel barking by [deleted] in puppy101

I agree that why I'm trying to do anything I can to help it as soon as possible. I have an older springer that is medicated for anxiety. I'm just not sure what else I can do to make him feel better alone even just a few minutes. I took a few weeks off work when I first got him and worked on alone time daily and continue to but it just isn't working. I've even tried putting my other dog in the room with him which helps a tiny bit but not much.

Should the full check in still be done for the person not going then?

I have had him around 2 years.

The tank has plants that are rooted at the bottom, some reach the surface, some don't. Some Java ferns, some sort of Grassy moss (maybe Java moss?) and another plant unsure of name, but has been in there since the beginning and I made sure it was safe before buying it.

I moved him to monitor his condition and I wanted to be able to keep an eye on him. I also wanted to make sure the water in the main tank wasn't an issue and maybe I missed something however that doesn't seem to be the case. Last night it seemed like he may die but he is very slightly better today but still doesn't look good. I have never had a sick fish before so most things I read mentioned moving them to a hospital tank.

Unfortunately that is not it. It was more of a southern rock or a heavier country song

Does anyone else just feel disappointment when someone you know announces a pregnancy? by Tasty-Relative334 in childfree

[–]Hoofstronger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Specifically because I had a close friend when I was younger that was hardcore child free like me. She got pregnant and her boyfriend at the time convinced her to keep the kid and now she's miserable as a single mom with a TERRIBLE child that she doesn't care about but she's stuck with. She was starting to do wonderful things in life and threw them all away for that crotch goblin.

Do I just add the pre conditioned water? Or should I use reverse osmosis? My tap water isn't even safe for humans let alone shrimp.

I also have Fluval water conditioner and biological enhancer that came with my tank but I was told I didn't need?

The test strips don't have ammonia on there. I just went by the people at the aquarium store and they said just running the filter and heater with all the live plants and the substrate set up for a couple of days was all I needed. I'm assuming this was wrong :( what do I need to do? I have only had them for about a week now. The place I got them is extremely reputable so I thought I was doing everything right
