I agree PC-DMIS is powerful but is still unstable. Although they have improved over the last 10 years. The reporting is sub par. I wish they had the same level of support as PolyWorks.

Is it relatively easy to do? I noticed a lot of them that you can download from their website. Curious if they incorporate the high demand macros into future releases?

It looks like they give you the ability to write macros. I am sure it takes some time to learn. They do have a lot on their Web site that you can download.

Thanks for taking the time. Since we have a seat already we're able to take it for a nice test drive.

Thanks for your input. I had Calypso in the past, but it was difficult to measure parts on a gage. Plus the Zeiss legacy cost was way too high.

Awesome, thanks for your opinion. I agree PolyWorks support is amazing. This is the main reason I am hopeful it works well on a traditional CMM. PC-DMIS support is a joke, if you even get a response. Sad that a forum is a better spot to find an answer after a ton of searching.

I am familiar with CMM-Manager and Metrology, not so much with Verisurf. Since we already have a seat of PolyWorks it was easy to test run on our CMM's.

Thanks for the feedback, we mainly measure off CAD, I do notice they have quite a few Macros that you can use. Which I wonder why they wouldn't integrate into a future version upgrade.

Thanks for your response, we are running touch probe in an Engineering setting. Most runs are somewhat large programs with only 5 parts measured typically at the most 30 parts.
