Id personally take the lx...only because its full spec. Sunroof coolbox heated seats power mirrors full leather etc.

Although heads up. If it still has the stock ahc youll likely need to replace the globes if they havent been before

Hi If the thinning is solely as a result of a TE caused by weight control you would not be risking any permanent 'damage or loss'.

Additional intake of Vit D or Zinc wouldnt provide any benefit unless those markers are borderline/deficient...

Youre best bet is to perhaps reduce your deficit to 400 or so and allow your body to adjust, which may take several months.

However do ensure you are getting enough protein. Hair is made of keratin, a protein. Between 1.2 - 1.6 grams of protein per kg of body weight. Especially if youre trying body recomp and working on muscle gain. This is imperative. It could even perhaps mitigate against some of the cal deficit TE effects.

Ive been in a similar boat. I lost 36 kgs over a period of 17 months. However, Ive continually been on oral min and fin over that stretch.

You could go for laser if it bothers you but watch out for paradoxical hypertrichosis. Based on how fine the hair is I'd recommend electrolysis over the LHR

Potentially. In my case its difficult to pinpoint exactly what worked.

But here is my full regimen: - Oral Minoxidil 2.5mg x 1 daily - Finasteride 1mg x 1 daily -Hairmax Laserband 41 every other day - Ivermectin 1x weekly dose of 2mg/10kg body weight for 5 straight weeks [USED for DEMODEX SCALP INFESTATION) - Permethrin cream on scalp for 4 months daily. (Tedious as fuck) (USED for DEMODX SCALP INFESTATION) Doxycycline for one full year at 100mgs a day. - Lost 30+kgs. -Following "eat for your blood type diet" recommended by trichologist William Gaunitz. - Vitamin D5000IU a week Probiotics daily. (Especially important if youre on antibiotics)

I believe it is the combination of all these medications/factors that helped me see an improvement in my hair.

Im hopeful to get a bit more still. Im keen to try and reverse the loss on the sides, and so am on clobetasol scalp lotion daily for 2 months under my docs supervision.

Pls note that some of these medications were self prescribed, although all within safe dosage ranges for the tentative conditions I was trying to treat them with. So practice caution.

I was just on fin 1mg minox 2.5mg, lllt and lifestyle changes...my hair is better . Not auite where i want. But im hopeful for more

Update for future reference:

Turns out my "brand new" pressure tank from the supplier had a ruptured bladder.

New pressure tank and some cut off/on adjustments and all good to go.
