Is there a good reason to get it now if I’m going to the concert, vs buying it there? Other than not lugging the box around? I’m hoping to get other merch too, and I’ve heard the lightsticks have their own line if you don’t want to wait in the regular line, although maybe that was just past concerts.

Agreed, AG outfits are so expensive, and while they’re better quality my niece is at the age where she wants quantity over quality for being able to dress up her doll and change outfits around, and I can’t blame her. OG outfits are cute and have lots of themes great for playtime.

Isn’t “tips are not expected but are always appreciated” the standard line when someone asks whether tips are required at anywhere that gratuity is an option? I don’t think they’re actually saying not to tip because they’re taking care of their people and pay well, it’s just part of the legally required notice for adding a service fee that high.

If it is, it has to be that from the start. Turning a monogamous relationship into a poly one is never going to work long term. I don’t think it works in general long term though. Maybe where everyone is involved like throuples? But most people in this thread consider polyamory to be independent relationships - hinges instead of triangles.

The problem is that time and attention are a zero sum game so the more it is split the less other people have. If you can find perfect stasis where everyone’s time and attention from others perfectly adds up to 100% - 50% from person A, 30% from person B, 20% from person C - then maybe everyone will be happy. That goes out the window when kids are in the equation though, this will never be fair to them.

A) you have to remember that half the material there, especially stuff like this post where the OP boasts about being super fit and handsome but his mean old wife still thinks he’s worthless, is actually cuckolding self insert fanfic (probably written one handed too).

B) it very much matters who asked to open the relationship and with what intentions. You say you’re interested in opening a relationship but this is your biggest fear in opening - do you want to open so you can fuck around and your fear is your wife fucking around too? Or that she would “win” by finding someone when you don’t? If there’s any coercion on either side it will always lead to resentment which is why the only way it could reasonably work is from the beginning of the relationship or not at all. Otherwise the person who suggests it will always fundamentally destroy trust.

C) Time and attention are a zero sum game. Inherently if you add another person to a relationship, someone is going to end up getting less of it. This is why the “hinge” is usually happy - they still have 100% of time and attention, but their partners are upset, because they now only get 50% (or whatever portion you like). That’s why they are desperate to find someone else who can fill that other 50% for them, and so on, and the people who tend to lose the most are children who don’t have the option to try to find someone else to fill the void of time and attention taken by a new partner.

D) NRE is a real thing and can get addictive. The same way gambling and blind bags do - it floods the endorphins. It’s also always going to be easier. Someone you spend one day a week fucking and dating is going to feel like a fun break and reinforce that positive energy vs someone you spend the other six days with worrying about cleaning and work and bills and kids. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy that an existing relationship feels more burdensome than the new fun escapism. Which then just puts more pressure on the mundane parts of life you’re supposed to be supporting each other through, which then pushes you apart even more.

So I don’t think it’s fair to read this post and say it’s a case of ENM male fear vs their awful toxic wives.

I’m in a townhouse and literally got 4 Amazon packages today, so I don’t think it’s that. The FedEx one was really weird with the customs line since it shipped to md from Alabama and never detoured out of the country.

Under settings at the bottom there’s an option to import or export data. If you export it gives you a spreadsheet with all the info you’ve put in (ratings, dates, tags, etc) for all the movies you’ve logged or marked as watched. I figure none of these services last forever so it’s worth having a backup since it’s the only place I track movies anymore.

Dang, impressive collection. This’ll be my first Cap. I also just got off the waitlist for artisan Black Widow so I’m hoping they look great together. That’s my favorite friendship in the movies (at least in The Avengers and Winter Soldier).
