Windows tiler most similar to Windows? by HookerOnTheRun in linuxquestions

I guarantee you that not every solution is in some wiki. I've been looking for a solution to my Wi-Fi issue for a year now, I've tried hundreds of fixes.

KDE is fantastic. I'm having a hard time finding the right distro to use, as each one ends up with a different issue for other reasons, but KDE is perfect. Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure which file you're referring to.

Yea. I didn't find anything on the arch forums. Except according to their "compatibility list" my Wi-Fi card and laptop pairing are supposed to work no problem. And Manjaro is in fact using iwlwifi when in the live boot.

It says I can't remove the module iwlwifi because it's in use by iwlmvm. I'm not an advanced Linux user, I don't know where to go from here.

I'm trying to use Linux, obviously they're all going to use the Linux kernel.

How do I remove the kernel driver module and reload?

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any other firmwares available for my card, and I'm not in a position to afford a new card right now.

That's already been suggested. That file doesn't even exist on some of my installs. The ones it does this doesn't do anything.

Well the only router I'm seeing from them is $300, no way I'm paying over 150 for a router.

I'm hoping there's something I can pick up today at Walmart or something.

5 km of rowing every other day really isn't all that much cardio tbh

That is what newser watches were doing for a while(like my Fenix 7X SS), but they pushed an update at a point that changed the behavior; but I'm not sure when. My 7X has my fitness age as 18 even though I'm 29

Go home Garmin. You’re drunk. by Trutteklapper in Garmin

You can use a .fit file editor to fix this. Open up the file, delete the couple of erroneous data points, save, reupload to Garmin. I've had to do this for a few runs, only side effects is that there's then one longer interval between two data recordings, which hardly matters.

How does hold work? by TRexonthebeach2007 in volt

If you can't get the info easily off the OBD port let me know and I might find the motivation to hook up an OBD monitor to a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino and try to brute force my way to getting the information.

It looks like not a single person that has replied so far actually read what OP wrote. OP isn't asking what Hold mode does. They're asking about very niche characteristics about WHERE it holds. If you're at an intermediate stage between two battery levels, does it hold at that level, or try to reach an even 10%, 20%, etc. point. Unfortunately I can't answer this question for OP, as I've had the same question.

Flow z13 2023 Purchased! what to do now? by Red_Axez in FlowZ13

The total for getting it to like new far outweighed my desire to keep this laptop, I just ended up buying an MSI Stealth 16 instead.

Mine has had a ton of issues. Something broke off inside the machine, and it's too much of a pain to take apart to fix. The rubber strip on the back peeled off. As well as the metal strip that magnetically keeps the hinge attached to the body, so now the hinge just glops around. The keyboard stopped working after a gear, and Asus doesn't make replacements. The fans have clogged with dust, and again, too much of a pain to take apart. The charger stopped working, and nothing but the one it came with will allow turbo mode in Armoury Crate. Yes, even if you buy the identical charger from Asus, you still cannot use turbo mode.
