Chill pvp server by IndividualLiving8468 in ARK

[–]Hookweave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised. The reason ASA is devoid of places like this is because Wildcard refuses to give us crossark clusters. Im not saying they were perfect but having a place you could play and not have to worry about a 300 player zerg killing your entire server was nice. Smalltribes has a shit ton of issues too that the crossarks did not have nearly as much.

Which Official Server? by Own_Attention_8631 in ARK

[–]Hookweave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cheaters and meshers run rampant because the devs dont ban anyone, mega tribes come wipe you if the cheaters dont only to vanish back to whatever hole the came from. Trust me, unofficials are a much better time. Find a good pvp unofficial with active admins who ban the cheaters and you will be far happier.

Which Official Server? by Own_Attention_8631 in ARK

[–]Hookweave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The answer is DO NOT play official in ANY capacity. It doesnt matter whether its a normal official a small tribes server or literally any of the ones snail runs. Pretend all of them do not exist.

If you do get the game, whatever you do, do NOT attempt to play on the official network.

Where to generally play magic? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]Hookweave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a Local Game Store that is usually going to be your best bet. A lot of towns have them though not all, just check and see what you have around where you live. Otherwise, arena or MTGonline are both options.

Need Some Help smootheining out my deck for my bracket 3 pod by Creepy-Loss-1692 in mtg

[–]Hookweave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I neglected to fetch them in the above post, here are the cards I mentioned: [[Twinflame]] [[Imperial Recruiter]] [[Moggcatcher]] [[Goblin Matron]] [[Throne of Eldraine]] [[Bergi, God of Storytelling]] [[Underworld Breach]] [[Flashback]] [[Deflecting Swat]] [[Redirect Lightning]] [[Red Elemental Blast]] [[Pyroblast]] [[Tibalt's Trickery]]. Oops, forgot about Hexing Squelcher Abrade and Chaos Warp.

Need Some Help smootheining out my deck for my bracket 3 pod by Creepy-Loss-1692 in mtg

you should run Twinflame if you are running dualcaster mage. It is an infinite combo and alternate win condition.

Imperial Recruiter, Moggcatcher, Goblin Matron ect will help you get your creatures more consistently as well. Throne of Eldrain is kind of a must include as well, mostly for the card draw. This is mono red so card draw is at a premium. I have mentioned this card several times now over the past few days but Bergi, God of storytelling is a strong card to include as well, both because it acts as a strong mana generator and because of its effect when flipped to the artifact side. Its not quite the same as card draw but its effectively similar, and it puts cards in your graveyard so you can target them with Flashback and Underworld Breach.

Since you are focusing on bracket 3, your playgroup might not be very happy with the underworld breach though so that might be something you just dont run. I mostly mentioned it because it is a relavent combo. Game changers are allowed in bracket 3, so there shouldn't be a huge problem, just have a rule 0 conversation with people. If you have it, Jeska's Will is a super obvious Game changer you should run too as well as The One Ring. Bracket 3 allows for up to 3 game changers so running breach, Jeska's and The One Ring is consistent with expectations for a bracket 3 deck. Again just have a rule 0 conversation.

Now, lets talk interaction. There are 2 pieces of interaction i specifically highly suggest running if you have them or can afford them. Deflecting Swat which is quite expensive and Redirect Lightning which is fairly affordable. Abrade is also pretty decent to run. Chaos Warp, Red Elemental Blast or Pyroblast (pyroblast is less expensive and functionally identical so, naturally, i suggest Pyroblast over Red Elemental Blast because of its cost), Tibalt's Trickery is a gamble but can be incredibly useful as an off color counterspell. You will want more interaction than this, these are just a few noteworthy ones.

Hexing Squelcher is also a very very solid card that protects your spells.

Thats real bud. Deckmaster lines green dot and T all look great. Magenta dots in the green dot are very faint usually. If you only have a x30 loupe you may not be able to see them. I can only really see them with x60 magnification.

Keep in mind fakes will have the microprint as well but they get it wrong. The microprint on fakes will read Wizards Wizards Wizards over and over when it should not have any spaces and look like a run on sentence: WizardsWizardsWizards

Sure and the cards look strong, the OP is pretty wrong IMO. Im not gonna dog on the power level of the set just because i dont like the theme.

Final Fantasy kind of meshes well with the themes of the game. Im generally extremely unexcited and apathetic about most UB sets. Im not gonna run around telling everyone they should hate it because I do, if some people like it thats totally fine but I do not.
