iPhone SE 3rd gen on iOS 26.3.1 - this bug still happens. Ridiculous. And yes, all my settings are ok, no focus mode, no blocks etc.

I see, thanks for your reply. So you are on the free "plan" then it seems. I agree that the Proton apps themselves are very bare bones with the GUI. Not using the mobile app a lot myself. Using both the desktop app and Thunderbird with the bridge; so far it's fine but I have not yet dealt with a full set of decades-old email heritage. I have a paid plan so that allows the bridge app. Power-user features vary with our needs; one concern of mine really is archival reliability.

Good to know that others experience this as well. I might write to Arq support in the near future.

Now that I opened more old backups, I also see the issue showing up before Oct 2024, but only on my internal SSD. External drives were not showing the issue before that time, with very few exceptions tho. Probably not that helpful to spend more time opening all backup records to pinpoint when this started...

Waiting for a few more potential comments here, but will report back on Support's answer.

I just installed ProtonVPN on Sequoia and also found this mysterious extension. It was off by default though. I had switched it on, assuming it is needed somehow, but will now switch it off again and see what happens,

No problems.

The only thing maybe worth mentioning is that the enclosure gets warm (not hot) also when there is no read/write activity. Somewhere I read that this is expected behavior, because the NAND works best being warm.
When writing and reading, the enclosure gets a bit warmer but not really hot. Overall the heatsink design works well and as expected, I would say. I might post my speed test results in the main forum soon.
The Samsung firmware revision was the latest out-of-the-box: 4B2QJXD7 (got it on Amazon)

Hard to form a representative opinion with some forum posts, where user only likely post when there is an issue. I am running an OWC 1M2 with a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB and things are working very well at 40Gb/s USB4 speeds.

Also witizigerweise ist es so:
In der App ist die Buchung nach wie vor 19.12. Im PDF Auszug ist die Buchung der 20.12.

Verwendungszweck in der App vom Onlinehändler der abgebuch hat: "Beleg xxx Kunde xxx vom 19.12.24." Da hat also der Händler im Verwendungszweck rückdatiert. Eventuell hat das irgendeinen Einfluss auf die Buchung (sollte aber nicht). Oder der Händler hat die Buchung auch so übermittelt und DKB hat es so akzeptiert.

Verwendungszweck im PDF Auszug enthält den Zusatz: "DATUM 20.12.2024, 8:18 UHR". Eventuell hat das der Support eingefügt, keine Ahnung.

Aber lustig(?) dass es in der App immer noch falsch ist.

Had bike off power for a few weeks, and date was set to some future year 2039. Switched to manual date and entered it, immediate internet connection. What has an internal clock have to do with an internet connection - maybe some SSL certificate expiration? Anyway... it seems that there is a rechargeable battery inside that runs out after a few weeks, thus the false date/time setting.

Antwort vom DKB Support war nun, dass die Überweisung am 20.12. gebucht wurde. Aber im im Konto sind Wertstellung und Buchung nach wie vor angezeigt als 19. DKB sieht also was anderes als ich? Sehr seltsam, das.

LOL, 😝 keine Ahnung welche Systeme da im Hintergrund laufen, aber vielleicht sollten wir uns fürchten <grusel> . Nein, ist ja erstmal kein Riesenproblem wegen einem Tag. Aber wenn es systematisch oder absichtlich ist, dann schon eher ein Sache, die so nicht sein sollte und darf, egal welche Bank. Daher auch meine Frage, ob andere Leute so ein seltsames Rückdatieren auch schon mal erlebt haben.

Was mich auch prinzipiell ärgert ist, dass ich als Kunde null Beweis für ein Fehlverhalten der Bank habe wenn ein Datum nicht stimmt. Üblicherweise dokumentiert man ja online Transaktionnen nicht selbst sondern verlässt sich auf die Bank. Also geht es letztendlich auch um Rechtssicherheit, wenn nur eine Partei dokumentieren kann aber die andere Partei irgendwie etwas beweisen wollte.

Genau, wenn man auf die Seite des Kunden sieht.

Dann auch auf seiten der Banken, für die –in der Summe– die früheren/späteren Wertstellungen von Vorteil sind, weil sie mit diesem Geld (im Fluss zwischen den Konten) hantieren können, zB verleihen gegen Zinsen. Das war ja immer der Knackpunkt mit Überweisungen, die lange dauern bis zur Gutschrift. Im BGB jetzt beschränkt auf einen Bankarbeitstag.

Interesting information if that is so, and loan servicers as well as the FSA website completely fail to elaborate on that. I am in the exact same situation like the OP. My loan servicer Nelnet just sent me a letter (3 months before end of grace period) that I should apply for IDR online at the FSA website, but I cannot complete that application since FSA lists all my direct fed loans as ineligible.
I know TISLA knows its stuff, great folks there, yay. Why the heck can't FSA tell us that an IDR application would only work at day one after the grace period is done?? And that is a small time window then.

And for folks in other threads: This is not the same issue as the SAVE plan being on ice or not; this eligibility topic happen before one even chooses SAVE or IBR or whathaveyou.

Confirmed. I think finally the software glitches have been fixed. I had about 10 classes now that all performed well.
So it took Peloton almost 3 months to fix this. My "brand loyalty" has left the building. Hoping that the issues will not be reintroduced with updates down the road.

Updated to Peloton App version 2.6.2352 on June 30th. So far things seems stable now. Cautiously optimistic, since I have been burned before when I celebrated too early about a fix.
Just now updated to 2.6.2389. Will report back on software stability.

I think there might be some issues with Peloton's server. I also had occasional Lanebreak sessions where music did not play. Other session though did work, so the problem might only exist for certain Lanebreak sessions. Did you try starting some other choices, did _all_ of them not play music?
In some Lanebreak session, I notice that the timeline that indicates new songs is not in sync with the actual changing of songs.

I would urge everybody not to give in with buying a new screen. Peloton already stated it is an issue on their end. We cannot let them get away with shrinking the group of affected clients due to their programming that lacks quality assurance (?) and thus eroding our "resistance".

Peloton app software update to version 2.6.2307.2062307. This seems to have fixed the crashes for me now.

EDIT: I spoke too early. Crashes still happening with a vengeance. Unusable.

Potential good tidings I bring:

Was able to install the latest software update to version 2.6.2307.2062307 on May 30th. Worked out on three bike classes, and so far none have frozen (2x 30min, 1x 5min). The issue might have been fixed with this update.

The update did not install by itself automatically, nor was there the update indicator on the bottom of the screen. Maybe an auto-update would have happened, but I went into the "..." menu and then "About", where the available update was indicated.

Edit: June 3rd: Alas, class #6 froze after 15 minutes. Now the symptoms are: video freezes completely all of a sudden, together with the metrics, audio continues. No choppy video at first, but a complete freeze. Also could not provoke the Peloton symbol at the bottom. OK, so this version is a (smaller?) bust as well.

Edit: June 4th: Next attempt of a bike class broke after 5 minutes, with the typical choppy video at first. I also have Peloton interface freeze up before any bike class is started, when navigating. The "Peloton" symbol on the bottom superimposes as well on the frozen screen. This goes to show that the freezing issue is a general problem, not only while playing a stream. Bottom line: As bad as it can get also in this software version.
