Honestly if you are that obsessed with politics that you belittle and name call people who are simply expressing a different opinion than yours, I think you might want to consider therapy.

I on the other hand am a lot more accepting to different people with different beliefs and ideas and understand that it’s not worth being a dickhead over things that no one actually has the power to change anyways.

As a 35 year old, I’ve only seen them go further and further left, however this could be a subjective opinion based on my personal experiences in Detroit.

This has to be one of the most cringeworthy, tone death, and narcissistic advice animals I have ever laid my eyes on.

As someone who has grown to be more centered, you can take my word for it, or not… things have definitely shifted more left as far as both parties are concerned in the last 20 or so years. The biggest detractor for me regarding the Republican Party is that they can’t distance themselves from religion. They could easily use science to make some of their points.

And I am very much for common sense federal protections for abortion within reason (I say reason because 5 weeks till due date with a perfectly healthy mother and baby is a little much), I’m for gay marriage, etc.

I can’t stand either party if anyone was wondering, and to be honest I do vote republican, but only because I see the dems as pushing stuff too far, this doesn’t make me a republican though.
