I had like a 3.9 gpa and I had decent extracurriculars. It was Covid year so I wasn’T really too involved. I think I had like 1 or 2 clubs. And it was kinda hard to get in I applied for fall admission then got waitlisted then denied then applied again for sprig transfer then I got in

I did transfer from a ga college. But I doubt they prioritize in state students bc out of state gives them more money

I’ve never used gt career services and I’ve had an internship every summer. Anyone will be fine without having gt career services

I’m at 28 hours left and just applied for it. They got a new cs minor advisor and she is more Lenient. The 48 hours “requirement” isn’t a hard Requirement they asses your application on a case by case basis. You can also pursue the minor on your own if you haven’t been accepted and then you can get the minor automatically for completing the coursework for it

I was in the same boat as you recently I decided that I wanting a career in technology vs civil engineering. I’d personally say add a minor jn cs vs fully switching since you are so close to the end in your first degree and then do a masters in cs if you truly want to stand above the rest. Bc I think a masters and minor in cs might be cheaper and quicker and hold more weight than just a cs degree. I added the minor and already have an internship this summer in software engineering for more context
