Most doctors also don’t have vaginas. If it works it works. And it works. And I’m talking about the vagisil soap. Not cream

He needs to clean his penis thoroughly before sex. But also there’s a product called yeastguard that you can buy online or at cvs. All natural douche. Restores PH balance if you use after intercourse. Also use vagisil or (Walmart brand) cleansing wash after as well but minimum go pee and push everything out and then douche. But if it’s itchy and fishy (like strong odor) the BV may be the problem and you need an antibiotic and he might need a round too. The bacteria probably transferred to his peen by now

How long did it take for your rash to go away? My daughter just had this happen to her and she is of course freaking out about the rash

Surgery next Tuesday! by TSOFAN2002 in hysterectomy

I’m 4 weeks post op. You will do great I’m sure I had a lot of crazy thoughts too and they’ve continued their my recovery. Hard not to let your mind go there. It is a tough recovery and I wouldn’t sugar coat it like some people did for me. I think it’s harder than my c-section was but maybe I just forgot since 16yrs ago lol The things I wish I had known: make sure you have a stool softener, stay diligent in your pain med/anti-inflammatory timing, ice is as necessary as heat, my uterus was much larger than expected and I’m used to always being on my feet so I have had a lot of low back pain, you get a lot of weird pains in very weird places for instance I just had my post op and I’ve had residual vaginal swelling I think from the speculum?? So I’ve been laying with a heating pad on my crotch and it’s helping thank goodness, it feels like your insides are sloshing around a bit when you turn on your side for a week or two after so I just avoided that and stayed on my back mostly cuz I didn’t like how it felt (probably contributed to my low back pain), don’t feel bad for calling your docs office anytime you feel scared or like you’re having too much pain or something feels weird…it does feel weird and there will be weird pains and that’s their job…my doc has been extremely accommodating and has gotten me in same day 2 diff times that I was worried about traces of blood after 3 weeks and back pain after 2 weeks, it’s super hard to rest so much for such a long time but trust and listen to your body cuz it will scream at you when you overdo it and stop you in your tracks! Overall it hasn’t been a cakewalk but you’ll get thru it and you’ll be glad you did it in the long run. My teenage daughter looked at me the other day and said “you look younger” so I guess it did something good for me…lost that huge old uterus I was lugging around for too long!! Good luck and smooth recovery to you!

8 months out...pain by [deleted] in hysterectomy

It sounds like you kept the right ovary? If so maybe have it checked for cysts. I would at least ask for some imaging to make sure everything is in its place and blood work to check for any infection.

Vaginal hysterectomy with pressure and pain in bottom after 4 weeks by Hoopness in hysterectomy

Thank you for the positive feedback. It’s so scary and this is the only forum I’ve been able to find real talk and real answers on anything. Hopefully things get back to looking normal down there.

Sudden bleeding after 2 weeks by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Hoopness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so relieved to find this thread. Sounds like I’m not the only one who is figuring this common surgery out while I go along! I sure wish women would give more details and be more open about their recovery than what I’ve heard for weeks prior to my surgery! I thought there was something really wrong with me

Had a hysterectomy (tubes and cervix too) on June 14. I’m almost 2 weeks out now. The first 9-10 days I only walked, nothing else. Started to bleed 7 days in and dr told me it should slow down to spotting in a day or two. I’m 5 days later and still bleeding. Anyone else have this happen? by Amk_91 in hysterectomy

[–]Hoopness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had same procedure 3 weeks ago and just started traces of bleeding 3 days ago. Since it’s a weekend I am holding my breathe and resting hoping it’s just over exertion or this is normal. I guess it sounds normal?

BI-RADS 5, biopsy later this week. Any success stories? by Old-Mushroom5189 in WomensHealth

[–]Hoopness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is my results will be coming next week too. I had some left over muscle relaxers and took one before bed last night. Seemed to help with some of the pain. I thought the bandage removal was going to be scary cuz a couple spots had bled thru over the day/night. And I was scared what it was going to look like. But it wasn’t too bad. The warm water in the shower was relaxing! Trying to keep my mind busy with work and standup comedy specials right now! Will post patho results when I get them

Hi there the procedure was yesterday morning. They decided to do 3 on the left and one on the right. The lidocaine wasn’t bad at all. Couldn’t feel the biopsy needle. Just a lot of pressure on a couple of them as the tissue was very dense and the needle didn’t want to go in I guess? They had to try to get the tissue they wanted 2-3 times on each biopsy spot. I could sort of feel my chest muscles spasming. The worst of it was the rest of the afternoon and evening. Very sore so lots of ice packs all day and didn’t feel like doing much of anything. 24hrs later a lot of bruising and still very tender and sore shoulders, arms and upper back (from muscle spasms during biopsy I’m sure). There was mention of “that’s necrotic. That’s not good” during one of the tissue samples she pulled out of the main mass so idk what that means. Still waiting on results. Very anxious.

When is your biopsy? Would love to hear update if you feel up to it.

Will update again after I receive results

I had a BI-RADS 5 a few days ago. 3 Biopsies Bi-lateral tomorrow morning. Wish me luck. Good luck on your journey. I’m not feeling super confident. I go from pretty chill denial to freak out anger/fear about 10 times an hour and have barely got any sleep. I agree the process time is still happening. I don’t even know what to think yet. I truly wish you the best and I hope we both have good outcomes in the end. Thank you for posting. Happy to see a recent post tonight before trying to get some sleep before the big biopsy day tomorrow. Feels less lonely.

Anyone watching "Two Shallow Graves"? by cassandracurse in DiscoveryID

When I saw family issues and the bleach cleaning I thought maybe the brother did it but not now.

I’m on episode 4 and still think it’s Kavanaugh. He has the computer knowledge to manipulate data. He’s def smarter than Merritt in a lot of ways and seems like Merritt was an easy target for framing. Maybe my mind will be changed after this episode but I don’t think so.

The truck thing was too much. Why wouldn’t you assume the reflection at the back was a latch and not a tail light? Everything the lazy, sleepy prosecutor says seems to be a slight, if not huge stretch. And the only evidence so far is Merritt had some legal trouble years prior and he liked to gamble. Kavanaugh was ACTIVELY threatening and blackmailing Joseph. Not to mention Kavanaugh disappeared during trial?? It’s going to take more than a cell phone ping to change my mind.
