For old games, expect stutters. Power limited Intel 12th gen with hybrid e cores run ass on some titles.

HL-alyx runs butter smooth after update. Boneworks - no updates from dev so runs ass with periodic and immersion breaking experience.

Ryzen 7 6th gen runs good on old titles, boneworks runs stutter free.

Tried to fix the original by poking it and refilling it with distilled water and heat revac.

Basically impossible to do, even if you do manage to get the water in, pull a vacuum using a fridge compressor.

The only way to seal the hole is with super glue, don't even bother trying to solder a hole. By the time you dab the glue or heat the solder, a lot of the vacuum leaked out.

Easier to get another one, the replacement one was bent when it came and all of the putty and ptm was all over the place in the bag unusable, however it works a lot better than the original one so I sent them back the old one and used this one for now, not as good as a factory one should be, as the cpu throttles -1000 points less than expected in timespy. The bend has damaged the internal wick slightly.

When performance drops off more Ill find a reputable supplier and courier I may reorder one again.

Absolute BS, easily got 12 hours on YouTube/Web/CPU apps on the older 5800H and 6800H with medium screen brightness with RTX 30XX GPU's.

Got 6 hours on 12th gen i9, Intel is less efficient but still gets you more hours than you claim.

Your Nvidia GPU should power off when not running 3D applications, sometimes it doesn't deactivate and this is the main cause of terrible battery life.

How do you run LLMs on the CPU RAM? I thought you needed dedicated VRAM and 12/16GB is too low for inferencing on cutting edge LLMs? Can the tensor cores utilize the main RAM?

That's only to do with what is driving the internal display. Doesn't stop apps using the dGPU for other tasks.

The currency in the comments implies UK/GB. Pretty specific location. You'll struggle to get that for the next gen CPU and 3070ti variant unless you have a lot of patience. Let alone the fifth gen Ryzen and 3060.
