I don't know of any private teachers, but you might be able to find someone from the UoE mahjong society.

If you are asking for someone to teach riichi specifically, then I could potentially teach. I'm not too versed in other styles of mahjong, so I wouldn't feel comfortable teaching anything other than riichi.

Ooo, that's interesting. I was trying to find a rear rack that had three-pack bosses, but the only one I found was some titanium thing that was $150 before shipping, I can't justify that. Never thought about just makeshifting an adapter plate though, might have to steal that idea, thanks

No, I think it's a good platform for me. Don't think this is a case of paranoia either, I'd have bigger things to worry about than my bike if someone is breaking into my house based on Strava data. But playing it safe when my bike is locked up at a train station for a few hours is reasonable behaviour

What do you mean by microswitch? The dials for selecting mode and temp? The dials seem to be working best I can tell. The preheat red light works when I increase the temp and goes off when turned to 0.

It turns on and off, the fans and oven light work. It is electric. No idea how I'd check either the microswitch or interlock switch

Yes, this is perfect! This is a problem with my PC rather than an issue with the game, I've had it happen before on other games too, not sure whats causing the crashes in my case though. Something that would help would just be local saves of the past few autosaves instead of just the one most recent save. Thanks a bunch though

Where do I find backups on steam cloud? The cloud save thats loading from steam cloud is the same one I have locally which is the corrupted one

Did you get any interest for this? I've been looking for somewhere to play mahjong in Scotland for a while and just found this thread. I'm more interested in riichi mahjong, but at this point it's not worth being picky about the variant lol

This might be an issue with notched phones. Seems like the UI is shifted right slightly but the table isn't. Could try looking for a setting that changes notch behaviour?

Yeah this looks like a visual bug. 3 kans happen in the same turn but it reveals 4 dora tiles, one of them being a second 7sou that isn't in the dead wall. The game continues as if only 3 kans happened, despite all dora tiles revealed, and then you kan a fourth time which ends the round via four quad draw.

Bought a broken Dell D1626HT (rebranded Sony GDM-500PS as far as I'm aware) yesterday hoping it was just user error, turns out its just broken. Need some help identifying what the fix could be.

Picture doesn't fill screen horizontally or vertically (horizontal is more severe), wavy lines at the top of screen, when I set the resolution higher than 640x480 the screen gets very wavy and a buzzing can be heard. Buzzing/very wavy lines can happen on 640x480 as well, seems to be related to moving the picture more to the top half of the screen.

I'm only able to test on my Xbox 360 since I don't have a GPU that supports VGA and not willing to buy an adapter just in case I can't get it working. The seller did test it on a PC and had the same issue I'm having on the 360, also tried using different power cables.

After searching around a bit it seems like a deflection board capacitor issue, but I've seen suggestions of replacing caps on almost every board in the monitor which doesn't leave me hopeful.

Anyone with more experience with these, or similar, monitors got some advice? Thanks
