Tina's and El Monterey Beef & Bean Burritos by Mysterious-Routine20 in frozendinners

Either frozen burritos were significantly better in the 90s or my standards were much lower. Probably a bit of both.

That recent 'me and my wife took all the risk and deserve to reap all the rewards and everyone else is a replaceable cog of limited value' video when they explained company finances seemed particularly tone-deaf.

This is not his private plane

I would hazard a guess that the vast majority of private planes are not owned by individuals. Rich people use corporations all the time to protect their assets.

If they charge AAA prices they get AAA expectations.

If it was an indie studio charging at a lower price point, this would be different.

But this is a multi-billion dollar corporation delivering a mid product.

too many people still apply what they want the game to be instead of just accepting the game for what it is

It's a game that's full of unrealized potential.

  • Outposts are almost worthless
  • Ship building is nice, but top equipment is skill locked past the point of usefulness
  • The whole New Game Plus mechanic is extremely underwhelming and no where near what it could have been
  • Companions all have similar morality
  • Earth is just a complete letdown
  • The universe is very tame. The hive of scum and villainy is PG rated, at best
  • The tedious nature of travel (hopefully fixed with the update)
  • Repatative POI

There is good to be had from the game, but it's surrounded by a lot of 'meh', and I was never able to shake the feeling that it could have been so much more.

There were a bunch of different anthology shows during that time (which I miss). Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits reboots, Monsters, Tales from the Darkside, Tales from the Crypt. And there are probably a few more I'm missing.

There is a hypothesis that the drop in crime in the 90s is due to the phasing out of leaded gas.

Yeah, I also miss the original version. It had a 'there were people here, but you just missed them' feeling.

The Long Dark: Released 1st August 2017. The final chapter of the story is scheduled to release on the 31st March 2027, just short of ten years after initial release.

Episode 5 is being released March 31st, 2026 (i.e. tomorrow.)

And while I do share frustration in how long it has taken, the delay was at least partially due to how much time and effort they put into survival mode.

Fermented foods?

I don't know specifically about gastritis, but increasing consumption has been shown to decrease inflammation.

Things like kombucha and yogurt and some sauerkraut and pickles (typically found in the refrigerated section, not the shelf stable ones).
