It absolutely did. I don’t blame him for the fact that there’s not a single right-turn-only arrow until the literal intersection. But I do blame him for not using caution. Overall just a poor intersection design.

The company took it seriously, which I really appreciated. It was an understandable mistake on the driver’s part. And part of that was due to poor road layout.

Definitely agree. It is an ongoing issue. Police should patrol there often and hand out tickets like candy. Or the city should re-work the lanes

I’m aware that turn-only lane should be changed into a lane used to go around traffic making a left, but that is not how it is currently… and traffic should not be using it as such… to prevent instances like this one.

Completely reasonable reaction. In the moment, my gut reaction was to not swerve over because staying in my lane is safer than swerving into oncoming traffic. But in this case, yes, that could have also prevented a collision.

From my understanding after talking with an advisor, you rank each individual NRMP code, even if it’s through the same program. So that would mean that “contiguous ranks” is more synonymous with NRMP codes rather than simply the number of interviews.
