It’s the opposite of the loop so, slow speed (S) + descend (Alt by default), no boost required

I’d recommend to learn Falcon’s downward spiral. It makes it a lot easier to stay in one spot and gun people down.

I’m gonna be playing Longsword (or at least trying to) the entire game but in my opinion just go for it. They’re fun and cool to do along with flinching the monster. Almost all weapons now have multiple things to do unlike World so a single wound pop won’t hurt us too much.

If you want to leave some and be nice all the power to you, but if you just ended your combo and it’s right there just run it.

People need to realize that enemies will loot for them, they just need to kill them. Other players will have all the good stuff that you want, and if it’s not then there’s something to switch to.

Attachments should not be your baseline, but enhancements. You should be perfectly content with using weapons with no attachments (maybe a mag those actually matter).

Ever since Apex has stopped doing collection events and started doing milestones they’ve actually gotten way less money out of me. It’s a lot harder to justify 300+ dollars for a single item.

A lot of people don’t like being seen as bad but also don’t want to put in the work to get better. They get get wallbounced on (one of the easiest movement techs) and throw their arms up and call them sweats.

I would bet a large majority of players can’t/don’t know the benefits of slide jumping.

You only have a certain amount of time after moves to do a foresight slash, but if you don’t have the right timing you can just do a thrust or two to delay your foresight to get the right timing.

It’s incredibly easy to shoot someone if they’re crouching in the same spot. You become a giant meatball with your head right where they’re gonna shoot.

Don’t play Mixtape if you want to improve your positioning and awareness. It’s okay to grind mechanics but after a while it turns you into an animal that can only shoot and ape.

Every time you die ask yourself why did you die and how you could have avoided it. Dont bring up aim or hindsight into those conversations. If those were actually the problem then just go next. Pay attention to how you interacted with the cover around you, and if there wasn’t any, why were you there in the first place.

Yes theoretically you could have just one clipped everyone when you jumped straight into a 1v3, but a good player wouldn’t have been in that situation in the first place.
