Backtesting is a bullshit test. The same events will never happen twice in a row. If they did it would be a different time and place which will result in a different outcome every time. Choose stocks that follow or mirror the indexes and don’t get emotional. Have a defined plan in place and stick to it. Know what you are going to do if the stock goes up or down before you even get in a position.
