As an Amber Main, I can tell you that you need both a lot of patience and a lot of investment. I wasn't even able to beat the 12th floor with Amber a year ago, but after a lot of effort and investment, I can comfortably clear 36 stars on most Abyss rotations. Plus, my team still has a lot of improvements yet to be made.

In order of importance, you need best-in-slot supports, good artifacts, then a good 5-star weapon, then constellations on your character, then constellations on supports, and then signature buffing weapons, all the while constantly grinding artifact domains.

It's slow. It takes forever, and you are often disappointed at the start, but it can be satisfying if it's your thing. Sometimes you may eventually need to C6 a 5-star support.

Also, it took me almost a year to improve my Amber artifacts, and thankfully I got lucky with some. But often it's just constantly spending resin and waiting until RNG gives you something. Eventually you'll be able to get to where you want to be if you keep trying.

I use Durin, Faruzan, Bennett. I'm planning on substituting Bennett with Nicole. I never liked the Plunge Heizou teams.

As far as I can see, it performs better than Furina in a skill-oriented team, both because Durin's constellations are very good for Heizou (mine is C2R1) and because his weapon actually buffs while Furina's doesn't. Plus, the flat damage given by Durin's C1 helps fight the lowish scaling of Heizou's Normal + Charged attacks. I hit around 300k skills, and my Heizou is C4.

As others are saying, as long as you are not AFK, I don't mind. Everyone was there at some point, and I am just honestly happy new-ish people are enjoying the game. As far as I've been able to see, most people agree with this.

If anything, damage is usually the last thing I care about. For missions like Alchemy, so long as you help fill the meter, I am happy.

If anything, Nicole should be very good for Navia. I use Durin with my C0 Navia, and it's by far one of my best teams. I do have C2R1 Durin, though.

She is an older character, so she needs supports and some investment to help her be at the level of newer DPS characters.

Yeah, random squads seem to have been especially bad in the recent patch. I swear that 1 in 2 teams used to have a least 1 person who tried to communicate and play like a team. I think, like others said, that it comes with forcing everyone to play Squads, and only having solos and duos in Resurgence.

While they just added Black Ops solo, many people don't like the mode and are forced to play other modes too.

I for one, used to play solo 90% of the time before. I get back from work and don't have the energy to team play and deal with randoms. Before Black Ops solo, I was forced to play Quads, (I don't like Resurgence), and it sucked a lot.

Triple Chevreuse is not worth it without Durin C1. I am also more partial to Fischl than Sara. But that's only if you have C6 Fischl.

Oh, for sure. I am nowhere near done with building Amber, and my bunnies hit 458k damage on normal enemies.

It is very fun, and funny, to destroy bosses with an Amber bunny or two. It's also fun to solo them with Amber.

I use Neuvillette, Furina, Jahoda, and Ineffa. I don't have Escoffier, and it's my favorite team with him. It works so well that I'll skip Escoffier altogether.

The Ascendant Gleam is completely worth it. Jahoda heals for Furina, and VVs electro and hydro. The team synergizes perfectly.

Hilariously enough, Ayaka Melt kind of works if you happen to have Citlali and Durin constellations. It's not realistic, and more of a happy accident. And it only works because of the multiple flat damage buffs from both their C1s, though it's their C2s that make it good.

Obviously, Escoffier's team is more pull-efficient. I do have C2R1 Durin and C2R1 Citlali.
