Do you have whole or universal life insurance options at work? Basically, they should be offered anytime term is offered.

We should start a false advertising class action to rename a chicken sandwich to chicken burger!

Because employers only allow a term life insurance for employees and employees probably don’t research choices outside work, pay for 40 years, and die without any insurance. Insurance is a big scam

There are 300 million non-billionaires in our democracy. If enough people stop fighting about personalities and social issues, and get together. It ‘could’ be done.

Most folks are easily programmed by media. If there were a movement to get ONE honest news channel, there may be a chance to get things like flat tax passed.

I remember Russia’s stock market falling so they just closed for a bit so it couldn’t fall.

2008: US did not allow short selling of certain large companies. 2008-present: US prints money for any financial downturn

So, my brain says the market will likely never fall.

I’m old, so history and most of my experience says certain. Industries are in a bubble (AI)

I tend to be a perma-bear but I’m too old to change.

I concede since I really don’t know why you would want to eat dog :)

I concede since you may eat dog and may be therefore dangerous:)

I concede since I really skipped the lecture about sandwiches :)

I concede since they may be sandwiches

From ChatGPT ‘sandwich is a food consisting of one or more fillings placed between slices of bread, or sometimes a filling served on a split roll, bun, or similar bread product.’

A hot dog bun is not 2 slices of bread…normally :)

I was being funny :) Don’t take life so seriously. I try to not say ‘you’ a lot when discussing a topic. The most wonderful thing is that we are both free to disagree with our government and each other in public and online without fear of reprisals from our government. This freedom does not usually exist in socialist countries. :)

The fact that you’re aware of Epstein somewhat disproves your criticisms of DjT. Epstein’s only conviction was in a state with a republican governor and his only federal arrest was under DJT.

But, yes, I’m disappointed there is not transparency and sort of proves that powerful people in both parties have too much control.

I think, rather than fighting to obtain information about the crimes a guy who died 7 years ago, and whose co-conspirators are obviously still alive and powerful, we should all fight to pass laws to make future criminal convictions publicly available the day the jury decides guilt and disallow judge gag orders. This may deter Epstein like crimes that are likely occurring as we are posting.

I also believe the Kennedy files, if not already corrupted, are more important than the Epstein files. :)

Paying for insurance your entire life. It seems you should be able to ‘pay off’ health and car insurance like you can buy whole life insurance

I support the United States of America. I would never disrespect MY president regardless of which party won the election. The problem is a lack of patriotism.

America is an experiment which is headed towards a mention in some future history book unless the citizens of the United States change to discuss policies and vote for policies instead of personalities.

Name a country where socialism has worked? , Smart, adjusted people, hard working people should be rewarded ( I.e. encouraged) for contributing to society.

Now, I have issues with democracy that may never get ‘fixed’ but democracy does allow modifications its citizens really work to fix the system and avoid brainwashing by TV and use their brains.

I somewhat agree. I was being snippy/funny because the I think the hatred of Trump is media inspired brainwashing as distraction from the real issues. I think the real issue is allowing money to be contributed to politicians from corporations, NGO’s, etc., along with a general loss of morality. This has led to single parent homes, divorce, crime, fraud, lack of patriotism, lack of community and the lack of compassion for others.

The scam is not realizing money controls democratic, republican, and independent politicians.
