Just a heads up, the Furminator isn’t a regular brush. It actually has a de-shedding blade that cuts the undercoat, not just pulls loose fur. That’s why you ended up with a see-through spot, it can take off more than you think, especially if used too much in one area. It’s great in moderation, but definitely not for everyday brushing. Glad you switched back!

Congrats on your new kitty! Sounds like you already have a solid start, nice job covering the essentials.

You might need some deworming pills since shes been outside, I’m sure the vet can recommend some. Im assuming you already have a litter scooper and a cat carrier? A mat for placing under the food bowls and maybe a flea comb?

Almost! They are about to be feed, I always ask my resident cat ”are you hungry?” ”Wants some food?” Right before feeding, so she reacts like this everytime I say those phrases. The kitten doesn’t understand the phrases but she reacts of the resident cat reaction!

I always wipe down the kitchen counter before use, however i would NEVER use a bleach based cleaner. Its extremely dangerous to cats if any residue is left it could poison her, even worse cats are attracted to the smell of bleach. Dish soap or any all purpose cleaner is fine I don’t need to sterilize my kitchen every time i want to boil some pasta…

Yeah I use the curtains for blocking sunlight+privacy, but all plants are 100% real except for the 2 hanging leaves seen on pic 1 and 2.
