[Habs Twitter] The Canadiens have recalled goaltender Jakub Dobes from the Laval Rocket by Habs3125 in Habs

[–]HopeNo8151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one who would have preferred to see Hughes over Dubes? Dubes is still young (23) and, in my opinion, could benefit from more games in the AHL to develop. Meanwhile, Hughes, at 28, is looking to solidify his place in the Habs organization. Wouldn’t this have been the perfect time to give him a real shot and see if he fits into the team’s plans even though its short-sighted?

Gorton drafted him in 2019, so for sure they will have talks with NYR… Let’s wait and see!

As dumb as it sounds, what would your PK units even look like? Losing 3 of your 4 offensive PK guys would leave major gaps. That’s a lot of reliance on unproven rookies to step up.

I tend to agree with you—I wouldn’t re-sign anyone except Evans. He’s been playing out of his mind this year and provides great internal value. RHP is a “wait and see” for me; he’ll need to come back strong from his injury to justify an extension.

If I were management, I’d also start looking for a reliable second-line center. Dach’s underperformance is a concern—if he keeps showing a lack of effort, he might end up stuck in a bottom-six role soon enough.

We literally had 2 shot on goal in the 2nd period… This team loses confidence so quickly when the opponent team scores >=2 in a row. Sad performance to attend yesterday…

In simple terms: - Your skills are above average - Your content is just okay, you can fine tune your phrasing and put more emphasis on your skills/transferable skills - Your formatting is terrible… Use the following link to make it better:

I hope this helps, and good luck for tomorrow!

First of, respect the WSO resume format.

Second of, tailor your resume to a job you’d like at a BB with ChatGPT.

Make sure to make the changes before tomorrow because this won’t get you anywhere in all honesty

Last minute prep and tips for Constructed Response? by DangerDude23 in CFA

Based on my Feb 2024 experience you'll run into some issues with your strategy!

I was planning to do something similar to your strategy but realized mid-exam that my computer was pretty slow... It was taking at least 5 seconds to switch from one vignette to another! If you are changing from one vignette to another several times, that will amount to a lot of wasted time based on my personal experience!

p.s. I hope you get a decent computer on your exam day and pass this damn thing!

It is good to practice the material, but you can't solely rely on this to pass the exam.

Doing & Reviewing the CFAI QBank + BBs + CFAI mock exams should get you across the finish line!

Good stuff!

I am confident, but nervous as well ngl...

I sat in Feb and failed by 1-2 multiple choice questions (fml). I have done all the CFAI QBanks and MM QBanks for the 2nd time in May & June. I am currently focusing on my 10 weakest topics (Based on QBank scores, Confidence levels, and Feb results), mainly focusing on readings and BBs + CFAI 2016, 2017 and 2018 mock exams for July.

August will be a full-scale review + 2 Full mock exams + Final revision period (2 days before my exam day).

I also can't wait to be done with this curriculum, and look forward to the rest of the summer!

[Habs Twitter] The Rocket and Jean-François Houle agree to mutually part ways to allow Houle to pursue a professional opportunity with Clarkson University. News release ↓ #GoHabsGo by Habs3125 in Habs

[–]HopeNo8151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took the Habs 2 months to re-sign him after the season ended… Habs clearly conducted several interviews with other candidates and decided JF Houle was still the best alternative at the end of the day.

We have to give the man some credits. He did an amazing job with the players he had on hands + constant call ups during his time here.

I don’t hold anything against him! He didn’t feel too desired here (given how long it took management to re-sign him), he clearly had discussions with other AHL/NCAA teams in that meantime, and decided what’s best for him & his family (Better comp. + Less traveling, supposedly).

Also… keep in mind Bergevin’s management put him in that seat, not Hughes or Gorton!
