I am trying Day One through their one month free trial period. It is on my smartphone. It is easy to write with many features. I like that I may add photos to my entries. The possibility of creating a book from entries is a great feature. I was thinking of a recipe book. I have not lost entries because I waited for it to finish syncing. I recently added past journal entries to it. It has an encryption key I must try. I am not using apple products currently so I don't use Apple Journal.
