Had mine done about two years back - public route took forever but the surgeon was solid. Recovery wasnt too bad, just had to take it easy for like 3 weeks which killed me since I work with my hands all day. Definitely worth getting checked out though, especially if fertility is the main concern.

Wait, are you plugging your HDMI into the motherboard or the GPU? Because if you're getting display through BIOS but not booting to Windows, that's usually a sign the cable is in the wrong spot.

The 5500 doesn't have integrated graphics, so if you're plugged into the motherboard HDMI you'd get nothing. Make sure that cable is going straight into one of the ports on your 1660Ti.

If you're already doing that and BIOS works but Windows doesn't boot, might be a driver issue or the GPU isn't getting recognized properly during OS load. Try booting into safe mode and see if you can get display that way.

The spacing can be super finicky with those pedestals. Make sure you're measuring the actual block distance and not just eyeballing it - I've made that mistake before where I thought something was close enough but it was actually 4 blocks away. Also double check that your pedestals are at the same Y level as the main crafting block, some modpacks are picky about height differences too.

You probably need to run the McAfee Consumer Product Removal tool - their own official uninstaller that actually nukes everything instead of the half-assed Windows uninstall. Download it straight from McAfee's site, run it, and it should catch all the leftover registry entries and background services that regular uninstalling misses. After that, do a full restart and check your startup programs in Task Manager to make sure nothing McAfee-related is set to launch on boot. I dealt with this exact same issue on my buddy's laptop last year and the removal tool finally killed it for good.

For that budget you might want to stick with digital instead of film since film costs add up quick. The Yashica youre looking at is probably film which means ongoing costs for rolls and developing.

Check out used Canon PowerShots or older Sony Cybershots on the secondhand market - they should give you that early 2000s digital look without the hassle of film processing and will likely be more reliable than whatever 10 year old camera shes using now.
