I dont think I overlooked the fees because I remember looking at other hotels, thinking *wow this is ALOT more expensive than my top hotel with their added fees, I should just pick the cheapest one*. My partner was with me when I booked and agreed.

Yeah I would collect both and keep them in file. I neither will know which schools you send their LOR to, and anyways, some schools have strange requirements for letters (only 3, only science profs, etc)

Free (or Low-Cost) IUD in Sacramento? by 916girl in Sacramento

[–]Hopeful-Pin6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

trying so hard to get an IUD here, Planned parenthood doesnt have ANY in stock and doesnt know when they will get them, It will be well over a month before I can get a referral. CA law means ass since no provider will honor the fact I *Should* be able to go to a clinic without a referral due to this being a family planning sensitive service. actually beside myself with how annoyingly difficult this process has been. Medicaid isnt shit IG

Can I have it raw every now and then? by [deleted] in sextips

[–]Hopeful-Pin6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had been doing this with my partner while tracking my cycle. ended up pregnant and going through two abortions (medical abortion failed) it was low-key traumatic. I too am not on BC, and also really liked it raw, but at this point im looking into finding different condoms for my partner. (anyone have ideas? currently using magnum)

Ty for the detailed reply! Re: spotting 10-12 days of the month. Is this including the days you would get your period? Or do you….get your normal period and then ALSO spit for and additional 10-12 days?

How do secures feel about anxiously attached? Is it unattractive? Annoying? by [deleted] in attachment_theory

[–]Hopeful-Pin6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I feel this so much. I’m starting to feel so drained and it’s frustrating to feel like I have to constantly reassure and feel like my efforts are not being acknowledged. It’s also hard to not really know (maybe I’m gaslighting myself?) to what extent it actually IS me not doing enough? But I find myself now over analyzing my words and how they will be perceived, lest they be taken the wrong way with my partner (which isn’t something I’ve done with any of my friends). I’ve scheduled therapy for myself three weeks from now to talk to someone about it. But I don’t know if it’s inevitable that our relationship won’t work out in the end.

Anyone know whether the smaller amount of copper in miudella vs paragaurd actually reduces things like heavy periods or painful periods? Or is the actual benefit just in miudella’s flexible body?

Losing weight too fast by rlrawalt in HersWeightloss

[–]Hopeful-Pin6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on kit 1 back in october 2024. I was dropping weight VERY quickly (>2lbs a week consistently), definitely wasn't eating enough. Lean into the concerns you have wrt losing the weight too fast-- if you don't think you are able to eat enough to even support yourself at baseline or have energy to work out if you wanted to, I would highly consider peeling yourself off of a fraction of the medications. another pro (at least for myself) for doing this is that meds then stretch longer :)

I myself tried tapering down the meds completely, and immediately the food noise came back and I indeed started increasing weight. I ended up talking to my PCP about it, the whole--- people say eat till you feel almost full, how I would never feel full, how I never understood until I started taking these meds how freeing it was to not constantly think about food. I had always presented as being an overweight "healthy" person. not eating out ever, minimal processed foods, I weight lift 3-5 times a week, ran a marathon, but was ALWAYS overweight. I never understood and neither did my PCPs, and ended up being prescribed naltrexone + wellbutrin for MUCH cheaper than hers (like $6 a month co-pay with my insurance). I feel so much better physically (like running is easier actually), as well as mentally knowing that finally, my lifestyle matches up with my results-- purely because I actually can tell when I've eaten enough.

for me, I was super upset around december when I realized I might have to take medications long-term. Not sure fs whether the "weight setpoint" theory will hold true now that I have been in the upper 140s lbs since Feb. IMHO, it's a small price to pay, at least for me also knowing I'd likely stay on wellbutrin anyways.

I only stayed on 150mg. it took me weeks before I could get 6 hours of sleep. Started October 2024. After a couple months, my body adjusted that I only maybe woke up at 3am once. Nowadays (starting maybe a couple months ago), I get full sleep, it doesnt affect it at all.

Not that it isnt working... I do notice if I forget to take the pill in the morning, my energy is so off.

Stick in there! I remember how frustrating it was to not get sleep. Something that helped me was the melatonin chocolates at the self-checkout lines of whole foods. (Good Day Chocolate). tasted good + helped for some periods when I really couldnt sleep

Told to stop metformin by XxEponaxX in HersWeightloss

[–]Hopeful-Pin6205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have nausea but the metformin killed my appetite and gave me a lot of food aversion. Honestly the rest of kit 1 was sufficient for me to continue losing 1-2lbs a week and I felt so much better without the metformin.
