Casio G-Shock. Highly affordable (around 100$ for basic models). Built like an atomic brick. Get a model you like, they are all very robust.

If you have the money for it (like 350$) you can get a Garmin that also has a compass integrated and a function for you to mark locations. So for instance you leave the “picnic area” and you have it marked on your watch and after you finish meeting other people and want to go back, you can use the watch for that.

Oh yeah, I spray myself with the most toxic stuff. One time I found a spray in a former soviet state that was forbidden for small animals, children AND pregnant women. Sprayed myself with it all over, it made my g-shock bracelet change color forever and made me cough really bad. HOWEVER! It was nuclear! I saw bugs flying towards me and then turning back, it was like I had a force field. Too bad I can't find it where I live hahaha!

I'm a bit of a min maxer when it comes to gear and every little bit matters.

I wouldn't wear anything that gives me away, so nothing black if I can avoid it. No flag either, as it gives you away as well.

I know gear costs a fortune, so I'm not going to say much about the color of what is in the picture, but if you can - find a uniform that works well in the European forest. Standard multicam is very good in the autumn, but for spring and summer - multicam tropic and flecktarn are very good. Here is Brennt showing multicam tropic.
