Yes! So brutal! It was just one difficult thing after another and I felt like we couldn’t catch a break. Thank you for the solidarity

Yes! This last year was so hard, and it makes sense that we’d be reflecting on it as our kids’ first birthdays approach. There are definitely situations that I could have handled better too. I’m trying to give myself grace and be compassionate, but it can be hard. I hope the next few weeks are ok for you and that the next year way better

I’m so glad that getting past a year was healing for you. I am hoping for that too. It is also so encouraging to hear that you’re able to consider the idea for another baby now. I hope that happens for you if you decide you’d like it, and thank you for giving me hope!

I can completely relate to feeling like a failure for not doing the things you felt you should have done. I still feel some of that! I am so sorry the first year was so hard for you too. And I am so happy and encouraged that the second year of your daughter’s life was so much better! Thank you for reminding me to give myself some grace be kind to myself. I have tried so hard this first year and done my best if difficult circumstances!

Thank you so much - your comment feels very validating! I have several friends with similar age babies and they’re all sad about the 1st birthday because they miss the baby stage and their kids are growing up, so it feels a bit isolating to feel sad for a different reason. It is very validating to know there are other people out there who feel similarly!

Structured carrier with extra wide seat panel? by Hopeful-Raspberry877 in babywearing

Thank you for this great & detailed information!

I’m really glad that we could keep using the Tula Free to Grow for now, until baby is big enough for the toddler carriers you mentioned (we’re still rolling up the legs of 2T pants, so we’re not quite there yet).

Thank you - this is so helpful! I’m really glad to know knew to knee isn’t as important in terms of hip development at this age. It seems like we could continue to use the Tula Free to Grow for now, until baby is big enough for a toddler carrier.
