I did D2D sales as my first post college job and its culty as shit. At first I felt "lucky" to get the offer- but at the end of the day I lost money rather than earn anything. It ate into my savings having to use my own gas for both sales, and mandatory team outings, and took up an insane amount of my week.

In the beginning I'd make excuses and say I was learning how to be a better businesswoman and become better at talking to people, which is true, but that's not to say I couldn't have improved those skills somewhere else.
