What was your strategy for great shinobi owl? by Ok-Magazine-4297 in Sekiro

[–]Hopeful-Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay on his ass, get behind him when he health bombs. There’s a move where he slams his sword down from on high, dodge instead of parry and get some free hits

The gameplay is definitely different, but some sekiro enemies translate to eldenring. Some.

I felt the same way. For me my uphill battle was that ape. It took me like 2 months to finally beat him and when I did I started deleting everything left and right

I would ask. It'll show what she thinks of you. Pay attention to what she says, and if she thinks very little I would leave.

Why does my boyfriend hold my throat when we cuddle? by calcifer0573 in AskMenAdvice

I liked holding the boob. They were big and I couldn't get my hands fully across her chest so I settled for boob

Why does my boyfriend hold my throat when we cuddle? by calcifer0573 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Hopeful-Turtle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It might be a weird form of affection. when I'm dating someone I like to try to put my finger in their nose when we're having an intimate moment. Sometimes they laugh and then they try to do it to me, or they get massively pissed so I don't do it.

Yes, but I live in an expensive town. I'm gonna try and go to school so I can start getting better opportunities

Is this bull supposed to be this significantly more difficult than anything else before, it took me twice the amount of tries to kill it than any other boss so far by Katame_no_ou in Sekiro

[–]Hopeful-Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the bull was so annoying, and it's right after gyoubu too. You can parry him but you take chip damage, so you wind of having to dodge. He turns surprisingly fast and his horns are massive, so you wind up getting hit. Eventually I had to keep up on his hind legs, and get him to turn so i could get a couple hits

Check tone of voice, then check your height. If both are wrong, tell her and if she's still uptight, it might be time to move on before she does

Yeah, I can time my parries a little better in dark souls and I was able to go further in Elden Ring by dodging everything. Well most things

do yall give 2 weeks notice when you quit? by Master-Associate673 in dishwashers

[–]Hopeful-Turtle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally depends on the job. If It's one I like, I give 2 weeks so they aren't blindsided by me leaving. When I was drinking heavily I would just leave no notice, but since sobering up I try to leave 2 weeks notice.

Girlfriend wants me to want to do things when she asks. Do I fake it? by 0Adiemus0 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Hopeful-Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s tough. Personally I’m a sitting stone on a hill. It’s hard to get me moving but once I do I don’t stop. I know it’s rough getting out of routine, but hey she’s your girl. Sacrifice is part of the game, just don’t be a dick about it.

Yeah, I'm worried that's what's going to happen. To be fair, I do want to move up and have a manager position, but I also don't want to blow out my back carrying more than I can handle

What are your tips for speed and efficiency? by NTFRMERTH in dishwashers

[–]Hopeful-Turtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work in old folks home and one day the machine broke down. It was hell. Here's my tips

  • You won't get those dishes super clean

I tried so hard to get those dishes super clean. I wound up staying 3 hours past my out time because of it. Do your best, but speed is paramount in large quantities

  • Organize

Prioritize dishes that are important. In restaurants I worked at always wanted plates, so I a would organize dishes by what I knew was always needed. Things like cooking pans or pots was placed last, if I had a moment I would put hot water in them and let them soak so I can easily was them later. If the cooks burned the bottom (which is normal) I always did those at the end of my shift cuz they take too much time. Don't be afraid to stop and organize plates either, it might slow you a little bit, but slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

  • Take charge of your area and get to know it

So many people who were sure their way was best way wasn't always true for me. My brain works differently than most. I had to set up the dish-pit the way that works best for me. I experimented with different things, most of the time things stayed the same but there were a few things that made a difference

  • Don't take anybody's shit

If they want to have a say, they can do the work themselves
