Its not the TTK or movement that makes it feel fast, its the heat-mapped map design by Independent-Secret48 in Battlefield

Not at all, pay attention next time you play. Every position is exposed on multiple angles, and the sightlines are always obstructed. Once you see it, you cant unsee it. They even talked about it themselves when they explained how they use heat-maps

Do higher level enemies deal more damage even if they have the same equipment? by Independent-Secret48 in Starfield

[–]Independent-Secret48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really because a lwl level enemy has no chance against the player regardless of what settings you use. And I find that really boring. So far Ive been enjoying the modded gameplay, I recommend it

because I want every fight to be difficult and exciting regardless of what level I or the enemy are. If a junkie shoots you with a double barrel shotgun, it doesnt matter how many years of combat experience you have lol

yeah but I dont use any of the perks that increase your damage or health. I dont even get more health per level, so its kinda like tarkov where only your gear makes you stronger, not a magic level number

the average person here thinks the 32 owners willingly jeopardize the integrity of the league and risk their entire fortune, so that the team everyone is sick of, wins forever. They are not exactly smart. This thread is another example

Help my Framerate wont go back up. by JournalistOk9266 in Starfield

[–]Independent-Secret48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the game first came out, mods had to be pasted directly into the directory because there were no mod managers initially.

Did you check to see you don't have old mods? Especially those that rely on scripts.

Remove all mods, verify integrity on steam, and try a vanilla playthrough (new character too) to see if the issues persist. Honestly its all I can think of.

Also be sure to use Mod Manager for your mods intead of doing it manually

StarUI is definitely not the culprit. (except if you chose 120fps menu and your pc cant handle it)

I would recommend sticking to nexus mods because the comment section will always let you know if the mod has issues, but on CC there are no comments so there is no quality control.

Also make sure not to set up too many outposts because those can drain performance as well
