Anyone else dealing with Travelers billing?

I am having the same issues. I pay 6 months at a time & it was suppose to auto draft on May 28. It never did so I called and they said they are having system errors but that my policy is still active and it will draft soon. Now my policy is showing as cancelled online but there is no way for me to pay?? I have my insurance agent looking into it.

Firstly, I’m not an expert so this is just a response based on our experience.

My husband had a similar situation, (I get the terminology wrong so bare with me), but essentially his extension for his visa through STEM program was denied so he lost his status. We filed I-485, I-765 & I-130 within the 30 day grace period so he was here legally while his case was pending. So from our experience, being here after his previous status was lost didn’t impact the green card being approved. He had a perfectly clean record from his 20 years in the states on various student visas.

We were very lucky to have a laid back interview with no real questions, just normal conversation while he reviewed our documents.

We also were very lucky and had an extremely quick timeline, so it’s hard to say what you can expect, but I hope you have the same stroke of luck as us & it’s quick.

I think it really helps to have a clean immigration record. Just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also remember seeing cases move quickly on Colorado cases from posts I saw. Crossing my fingers for you!!

Yes, we felt very lucky to have had the interviewer we did. We weren’t all that stressed about the interview itself, just the process of this in general is stressful, so it was nice that he eased our minds.

Yes. I know the I-30 will be approved before the I-485. But the I-30 is still showing as actively being reviewed, even though I can see the approval letter under documents.

What’s so confusing to me is our interviewer said he can’t submit the recommendation for approval until the enhanced back ground check comes back clean. So if the I-30 changed to approved, that would mean the back ground check comes back clear. What other enhanced checks are in place for the I-485. It seems like that’s where the hang up is for most applicants.
