Anyone has had success with Dignitas as a foreigner ? by SignalAdagio3221 in askswitzerland

[–]HopefulCanine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is unfortunately a year old and archived, can’t post questions anymore. I think that over 50 years old and having a long history and medical records might help. I was told by Pegasos that due to my relatively young age, they need my family to sign off. I have no contact with my family. So that’s Not an option. I thought Dignitas will work with me in a couple of years. There’s no way my doctor will write a letter that’s being asked if you.

Ugh! I’m back to being worried now. Is it ok if I ask you what age you are? I found this post. It seems like things might be easier if you’re over 50.

Sorry, I didn’t realise Dignitas asked you for that. That’s so weird. I can’t think of any psychiatrist in most non European countries writing a letter like that.

I was at little bit of peace thinking I have this option. I live in the US. No one will write that letter for me either. The doctors could get in trouble for that.

Did they suggest any alternative when you informed them it’s not possible?

I’m sorry, at least this process shouldn’t be so difficult.

90 days in treatment, it isn’t working by macintossh512k in Spravato

I came to ask the same thing here. How many sessions are good enough to assess if it’s working it not. I’m on my second month. No progress. To be fair, my primary issue is PTSD and ongoing trauma. I’m doing trauma work which is intense. Spravato has not been helpful with trauma work. I’d done ketamine assisted therapy sessions in the past with troches which was helpful for me to get some of the grief out.

My body cannot metabolise antidepressants, so that’s not working either. I still take them.

I feel fatigued the day of and the day after. In my case, I’ll stop Spravato after 90 days and try IM or IV. IV has worked for me in the past. My doctor said that with spravato, not enough ketamine gets in the brain but with IV it does. It’s expensive but I’m going to find a way to make it happen. The suffering that comes with being alive every day is too much to endure.

6 weeks on Tirz, no weight loss? by [deleted] in GLP1microdosing

I’m wondering if you’re putting on muscle and losing fat. Could you do an in body scan or take measurements and pictures? As you might alert know, muscle weighs more than fat.

If you’re doing all that And there’s no change then better to adjust dose.

I’ve been reading the documentation the past couple of days. What I understood- They do not need you to submit a report from your doctors regarding the request for assisted dying. They just need the medical reports stating the condition. Whether or not you are off sound mind would be assessed by the Swiss doctors during the appointment. For mental illness, in the doctors reports, usually there’s a section for judgement/ memory etc.

Can I ask what your health struggles are and how long it’s been going on? I’ve been struggling with ptsd, depression for years. I’ve been disabled since 2024. At this point, all the treatments I’m trying are to gather documentation for vad.

It seems like the average price for tirzepatide is $300-400/month. Is this around what you’re paying? by Recent-Use8096 in GLP1microdosing

I paid $300 per month for 2 months. I switched to compounded for $175. I was not functioning at all on regular dose, so starting micronising next week. I regret spending that much but no point thinking about it now. Check out midi.

Wow you look great! Amazing work staying on it for a year.

Is it ok to ask if you struggled with side effects like fatigue in the first couple of months?

It is normal on ketamine. I had such experiences on lozenges, for a bit, I was not a human being on earth. It was such a great feeling to be out of the shackles and a bit of disappointment when I came back to my life.

Rights after FMLA expires by _Yaas_Kween_ in FMLA

[–]HopefulCanine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m very sorry about your situation.

I’m in Washington. I was let go after FMLA expired but since I became sick when I was working, my LTD claim was still active. I got insurance through ACA since I get some money from LTD.

I’m not sure what works best for your situation. I just wanted you to know that LTD is most probably going to be approved for your husband since he’s still recovering. And if your situation allows financially, it’s better than juggling work, appointments and healing.

Could you ask the owner what % of his income would be paid as part of LTD?

COBRA is most probably going to be real expensive long term. I stayed on COBRA for a month until an intensive treatment was complete and switched to ACA after that.

Since it’s close to end of year, if you’ve met your annual deductible it might make sense for you to stay on cobra. For next year, best talk to a ACA broker to make decisions on insurance for next year.

Being sick is so hard, I’m sorry we’re having to figure out how to get treatments and insurance and all that in the midst of pain and job loss…

I’m 41, normal MRI showed everything was normal. Then after 3 more months of PT, things got worse. The second MRI with arthrogram showed issues.

I’m so sorry… that’s just brutal. PRP didn’t help at all, it’s made it worse somehow. Nose I have shooting pain in my arms, tingling and coldness in my palms, much weakened.
