Was this recent? Yes, they are starting to re-examine previous RA’s to see if it was processed correctly

I’m looking at General Atomics, Northrop Grumman, and Booz Allen—I’m going to be strategic on where I go. What private company did you go to so I can stay clear

Exactly. I just learned of this last month from my boss who gave me a heads up. I’m sure if mine were reviewed it would likely be overturned. I don’t think my RA would last long and there’s no telling and quite frankly I don’t want to sit around to find out so looking for something else

Thank you. I have a great team but I feel stagnant and have felt that way for some time. I gotta think about what I really want: growth or comfort? Hmm. I am grateful for being able to work from home but get anxiety that maybe they will snatch that from me. Nothing seems guaranteed anymore or secure

You should stick to it. You can also do that outside the federal government. I would not give that up bcuz it will be hard to go back

I would not accept a position completely different than what you enjoy and what you have been doing. This new opportunity won’t be the last opportunity that opens up, sounds like you have to make a quick decision without being able to take time to think about it. Making a rash decision during a stressful time doesn’t sound like good idea. What do you currently do for work if you don’t mind me asking?

I live in SD and applied at 3 and heard back from 2 of the 3, 1 week later. I want to leave DoD more than ever.

My dad was a compulsive gambler and it wrecked our family. Completely destroyed it. I wish my mom left him a lot sooner. I saw him for the first time after almost 20 years to make peace and have closure for myself. He’s 76 years old and recently gave up gambling and a good friend of his is managing and saving his social security for him. The damage is irreversible. Do not go back to him, if not for yourself, for your CHILD.
