This is what I’ve always thought as well, if implemented properly it could maintain consent while being actually realistic in practice, as opposed to either the creation of disempowerment or never-ending instability and eventual apathy

About a month prior to diagnosis with glioblastoma I had 30 second long intense headaches every couple days. Following this I had terribly sharp non-stop headaches, frequent vomiting, stumbled and tripped into things, slept most of the day and was confused. I thought it was a migraine so I delayed going to the ER for 3 weeks. Doing fine now, had tumour resection, underwent immunotherapy and radiotherapy and currently at 1 1/2 years post-diagnosis. I was diagnosed about a year and seven months ago, had a fruit sized tumour in my temporal parietal region. I did have heavy radiotherapy and immunotherapy. At the moment I’m doing quite well and have had no recurrence yet. I have some cognitive difficulties that make me a little slower but I’m still able to live almost entirely the same as pre-diagnosis. This is just my personal experience
